05/06 & 06/07 Cup Cases

I think I'm nuts, but would I be certifiable if I ripped a case of each...currently 05/06 is around $3800 and 06/07 is around $1900... or should I tempt 2 06/07? Thoughts?

Why don't you hold off and see about 07/08. Are you building the set?

I learned that 07/08 will be called Exquisite, not Cup and it won't be out until July at the earliest. No, I'm not building the set.

Its on the no purchase necessary page of UD as The Cup. I don't see why they would change it.

and if the money is really burning a hole in your pocket, I would go with 2 cases of 06-07, more value, the rooke class is solid. You won't get 12,000 for Malkin's RC patch auto, but there is still a ton of stuff to be pulled, more so than in 05-06 IMO.

I still say you wait and get a couple of cases of 07-08 Cup/Exquisite...but it sounds like you got the flow to do it!

I would like to see you buy 2 case of 06/07 so you could rip them ASAP!!! But thats just me...............and FLO..................and Trace................OH hell, csun,VC,E, and all the others I didn't mention.....hehehe

I say If you want to do do it, Have at it. It was fun to open a box but had I not pulled Roy ? I'd been cryin' on Hj's hunky shoulder.
I think that if we as a group want'd to do a break (We need to find it cheaper) because I don't like the odds or price at all and if you get the newer product ir may be slightly better odds and price.) Not Carey either.

Where do you guys figure this year's cup being at cost wise? I'm just getting into all of this again so have no idea where last season's began.

Depends how they load it up. The past 2 years the beginning price is around $300-$350/tin.
