Default Sidney Crosby auction quest.

Okay, after watching everyone open hockey I've been thinking about trying it out. So, I've been surfing the bay to see what things go for and to get a better idea, because it's been at least 10 years. I mean, I collected back in the day of Pat Falloon RC mania. So I'm trying to ease back in, and I'm not exactly in hockey country. But, I really gotta know something. Is the legit or someone losing their damn mind? Have I been out of hockey that long?

Sidney Crosby 2004-05 ITG Rookie Jersey Signature 4/5 - eBay (item 6260104585 end time Jun-22-08 18:41:13 PDT)

10 years is a long siesta from card collecting so to answer 1 of your questions, YES you've been away for awhile. Card collecting has changed big time in the past few years w/ all the ultra high-end stuff and card companies bullying each other around to corner the market in any given sport. The #2 implied question? yes that guy is crazy to ask for that much.

Let me try again. Sometime I screw up on here. I have not been away from the card business itself for 10 years. Just the hockey aspect. I really don't watch it anymore. Use to do shows in San Jose and the was Hockey area and I haven't done them since the 90's. Where I'm at now is pretty much the other 3 sports. I worked in a card store from 93-04 and probably sold 2 boxes of hockey. It's just not this area. Sorry for the confusion.

No worries. The card is still wwwaaaayyyy overpriced. Some people do dumb stuff like that just to show off certain cards. I'm not even sure how much it cost the numbnuts to list that on Ebay? Probably only a few bucks but it's a high tech way to go "nyaa nyaa.. look what I got and you don't have one".

I have an 05/06 SP Game Used Sidney Crosby Rookie Auto #/5.

Should I list it for $100,000?

$100,000 with a best offer? or should I list it for 99 cents and let it run with a $100,000 reserve?

Just to get an idea?

Should I list it on wednesday or thursday and let it run for 10 days?
