What a gutty game from both teams.

I was one of the East coast wusses that went to bed w/ just a few minutes left in regulation play. I fully expected to see the Detroit celebration footage this morning on ESPN. Looks like I missed a lot!!!

Second, What a great game, I am in New Jersey and watched the whole game. I dvr'd channel 4 until 4:00 am just in case I fell asleep. lol

Had to wake up for work this morning at 5:00 am!

Worth every second of lost sleep.

My girlfriend wanted to kick my ass because I didn't want to watch the game in the living room. I wanted to watch it in the bedroom so I didn't have to get up after the game(if the Pens won) or celebration(if the Wings won). At least the right call was made on that penalty.

The wings totally dominated that game, the refs owe the wings for a lot of bad calls, I predict a 5-3 wings win on Wednesday night with the wings out shooting 43-28.

I couldn't believe Fleury held on. I didn't think he would.

Please don't start blaming the REFS.... there were bad calls all throughout the game on both sides. The penalty that led to the goal was a good call. Sometimes you get those breaks and sometimes you don't. Just part of the game.

The first goalie interference call on Zetterberg was the right call. The 2nd one wasn't even close to being interference. I think Fleury embellished on that one and kudos for him on getting the call. The sad thing on that call is that the Ref staring at the play isn't the one that made the call it was the ref up at the blue line that made the call I believe. This is coming from a certified USA Hockey Referee

I don't know if I agree with that. Even the anouncers, not Doc Emerick, were bitchin about Goalie Interference calls.

I think you have to call that, they went in the crease and ran into him. You can not allow that otherwise everyone will do it. The offensive player needs to pull up or skate around the crease, nothing new here.

It sounded like those three Jamokes were definitely pro-Wings.

PS - Doc is one of the best announcers ever.
