Default 07/08 The Cup

Upper Deck Sports | Collector's Zone Card Set Home

Though not announced there is a mention of it on UD's website, with a date of June 20th even though there's little chance of that happening.

A June 20th date is highly unlikely since they haven't even introduced it really.

Why is it impossible or does it need to be hyped for a June 20th release ? They did the same thing with Exquisite FB in 2005. Didn't say anything about it so people would by a crap product like Ult. Col. then released it about 2 weeks after. Its the same shadey crap that UD is famous for in this industry.

Maybe you should stop acting like dogs in heat for this product so it will be offered at a decent price out of the gate. Actually the way some of you have been posting about this product since hockey releases came out you can probably forget about that happening now. This board isn't just here for your opinions about the NBA or Joba. It has other uses for other people as well if you know what I'm saying.

I supposed you have a point Bam...if it follows thier track record then it will be pushed back, but who the heck knows. I wouldn't put it past them to do that. The Cup didn't come out until Late July 07 I believe.

I guess that we are going a little overboard with our excitement. I just really like the product. I'll tone it down!

MAYBE they should take off a year of the cup. Too much hockey stuff comming out. Nothing goes up in price anymore. Everying you can buy less than presale. This is getting old for me.

This may be the only hockey product that will hold value. I agree though that there are way to many "high end" products coming out that are flooding the market. But this one seems to have the best quality of content of any of them.

Yeah, and maybe Upper Deck will turn a few million dollars away.

Yeah right!

They Prob Will Come Out With Exquisite Rookie Signatures Hockey First. We All Will Spend Money On The Worthless Crap Thinking That It Is The Replacement For The Cup. Then They Will Come Out With The Cup.

Guess I may need to start saving money for NEW Cup instead of ripping OLD Cup. Cup ALWAYS comes out in direct competition with ITG's Ultimate Memorabilia. They're usually about 4-5 days difference. Look for them in mid-late July!

I don't think that there will be an Ultimate Memorablia anymore. Superlative took its place.

Default Break

Ordering 5 cases. LOL I wish. We should definetly do a board break so we can all see what there is before we shell out $300+ for a box

Not to rain on the parade....but I not sure how much I like (if at all) the design of these cards. I mean its nice, but I think 06-07 had a much better design.

Come on man you know the thought of hitting a Carey Price patch auto #'d to 99 will get the tingle right back.

It always seems that when HJ and FLO are yammering in a thread the conversation goes awry.
