Well, cards arrived today and I sorted and scanned everything.

I wasn't expecting the cards so soon. I had some unexpected free time today though. I don't know how much time I'll have tomorrow but I will start to figure out shipping costs and that as soon as I can.

SCANS IN FIRST POST.

Oh, some cards have the auto grades on the back.

Hey everyone,

I've started to pack up the cards. Please let me know if you wish to purchase insurance as a few of you probably should.

I took payments as "goods" and I'll add that Paypal fee into the shipping cost. However, I've decided to take the shipping costs as "gifts" to make it easier. I was worried about taking gifts as I heard they were suspending accounts; I didn't think about how much fees would be for those sending in a lot of cards. Now I'm hearing that they don't suspend the account they simply remove the "Personal" options.

Anyways, I'll be contacting each of you with the shipping cost. Some packages will go out Monday but all will go out no later than Tuesday (pending payment of course).

Ok, all cards that payments were sent for are in the mail. However, I didn't make the last pick-up. Paypal should've emailed you a tracking number.

Ok, all cards have gone out with a few exceptions...Zacky1053 (you need to pay and confirm address), keggobelly (holding until he tells me to ship), and DaCubs (will get his locally).

I wanted to go through the entire process before volunteering to do another one. This actually wasn't too bad and it'd go even smoother next time. One thing I thought of too late was that I should've double bagged the cards since I wrapped most cards into bricks...that way each of your cards would be in a graded card bag without tape all over it...not a huge deal

I didn't charge for supplies or that and other than a shipping payment or two sent as goods everything went fine. I guess taking Paypal as "gift" isnt too big of a deal so next time I'd just do that from the start. Sorry it cost you guys extra.

Thanks to everyone who joined. It was cool seeing everyone's cards and especially interesting checking them out again once they were graded (although honestly, grading still seems like somewhat of a crapshoot). Thank you for trusting me to run this!

No problem. Just updating and making notes more for my own sake so people can catch if I missed anything.

QUESTION ABOUT GRADING.

CAN YOU REQUEST THAT IF IT DOESN'T GRADE AT LEAST A 9 THAT IT NOT BE SLABBED?

i HAVE ALSO SEEN WHERE THEY PUT NOT MEETING GRADING STANDARDS? DOES THAT MEAN THE CARD WAS IN SUCH HORRIBLE SHAPE THAT THEY DIDN'T EVEN WANT TO GRADE IT?

Big fan of "Caps Lock" I take it!

You sort of answered your own question...you can request a minimum grade and the card can either not be slabbed at all or be slabbed and marked "Authentic" but not given a grade.
