Default Do I dock this dudes itrader or not?

Hey fellas I have a situation and want your take so I can make the proper decision on what to do.

Members name is Woodythakid13 and He posted some stuff he wanted to buy so I PM'ed and he responded and we worked out a deal. Now mind you his feedback from two other members has him at 91% for the same thing that i'm about to tell you about.

After working out a deal he says " just waiting on funds from another member to pay you and if worse comes to worse I will transfer funds and pay you tomorrow regardless". I got an update later yesterday saying "still waiting on the other member to pay me, just wanted to give you an update". Then just now he tells me "Regrettably man im sorry im gonna pass on your deal because I got all the cards I wanted on another site for this much. He didnt pay for the stuff we made a deal on and I think he strung me along and just was looking a bit longer.

Question: do I leave neg or neutral feedback due to this situation being the exact same as the other two members here or do I let it slide and just let him be because he didnt pay for the cards? I need the opinions because I hate it when people make a deal then go back on it.

In my opinion you should give him a neg. He def strung you along and if he has done this before he will keep doing it again.

I am not sure if you are wrong if you give him negative, but will it set a precedent of leaving feedback without anything changing hands? I worry that if you leave him a negative and it catches on, then negative could be left for a trade that was never truly agreed upon, like sides don't ever match up, and one guy has his butt hurt, so he leaves a negative.

Appreciate the feedback and I considered that but in this case a deal was made and Im more than happy to provide the PM's as proof.

Now that you know that what would you say?

Keep in mind too that he has been docked about this already so I am not the first so the prescedent has been set already...

Thanks for the input...Duely noted. He gave me a response back, but to think you could make a deal with someone then just rescind it is boloney...

I asked him about his feedback prior to doing the deal, and his history of not paying after making deals and he told me no worries that he really needed the cards and not to worry he will pay no matter what...

I understand that, but we made a deal and he went back on it. You kept your word so it's not the same situation.

Would you still have the same opinion knowing that?

I actually believe it deserves a neutral. This is just my opinion though. No one is out any product or money - so I think this member just has horrible way to conduct themselves.

Neutral. This way others know what they can expect before entering into a deal with him.

People need to stop wasting others time as it can cost the seller money if he or she has to wait on the buyer.

Ouch from a mod too...Thanks duly noted.

So even if he didn't pay and nothing changed hands? Would love a mods input on this.

There are good points on both sides of this discussion so thanks for the feedback. Duly noted.

just my opinion mind you but if I pull a card off the market for a deal, guy then says he's waiting, then the deal goes bad (in this case the other person states they got the card elsewhere), I'm leaving the negative.

Also to be noted, I'm not pulling a card off the market until its paid for. If your online and state you want it, the clocks ticking.

I was leaning towards neutral but wasn't quite sure, but if a moderator says this kind of a deal is a negative, then I would roll with that!

I have a questin for you. If I leave neg. itrader and he does the same to me what happens then because I don't want to get docked for holding up my end of it....
