Stand up member who made a bad situation right

Hi guys. Just wanted to take a second to commend legendroy about a deal we made about a week ago. He was selling player lots and I bought one lot of Frank Thomas and friends. Well his girlfriend sent out the cards in top loaders with no penny sleeves PWE. Needless to say the cards got damaged and some just thrashed. Obviously I was not happy with this so I PM'ed him and gave him some options to make it right. I contemplated a negative or a warning thread or both if I heard no response. Well to my surprise I got a PM from him giving me a full refund and saying to keep the cards. I decided to give him a positive because of the way he handled the situation because I felt he deserved it for his quick response and refund for which I did not ask for.

He said I was great to deal with and that he has had some bad ones already on here so I thought this might help put him out there a bit to say that he did the right thing and is a stand up guy. Despite the hick up I would deal with him again.

Sounds like a top notch trader!! This is also why I hate PWE or sending my wife to do anything for me lol.

Man if my wife sent them out I would get a PM too. Yikes, but at the end of the day the guy made it right and that is commendable for sure.

For sure!! Lord knows there aren't many great traders/sellers like him anymore.

Nope. Fortunately we know who most of them are. I have been very fortunate to know quite a few good people. 90sbaseball fan 7290morint and a few others are excellent members as well. Just shouting them out too as they deserve it.

PWE and this hobby should not be mentioned in the same sentence. Cards should never be mailed in a PWE. 000 mailers cost less the five cents per when bought in bulk. If you are a trader; you are moving a lot of cards; you should be buying in bulk. My .02.
