Terrible eBay seller

A week or two ago I bought a Trevor Cahilll BTL rookie auto from seller madmanjay69. For $2.50 shipping the item was sent in a PWE. Not surprisingly, it was creased. I messaged the member telling madmanjay69 that it was creased and unless I was issued a refund, at least for the shipping I would have to leave negative feedback. Madmanjay69 goes ahead and reports me to eBay, for feedback extortion! Then, I leave negative feedback and said: Sent, in a PWE- stupid. As in, sending in a PWE is stupid. I get reported for insulting a member in the feedback. Then, madmanjay69 tries to win an auction or two of mine, because I hadn't blocked him/her yet. This seller is a pure disgrace.

Just my opinion but you went about this all wrong.

Instead of demanding a refund and threatening them with negative feedback wouldn't it have been wiser to send out a polite email explaining the situation and asking for a refund?

Don't be so quick to shoot from the hip. I know you were angry but have a little common sense. I'm not surprised at their reaction towards you at all...

No, I was very polite. I only told him/her that I would have to leave negative feedback after my request was denied. Sorry for being confusing.

Has happened to me too many times, people want a free ride. Contact me, request a card or refund and offer to send the card back with a DC
I am going to reply with a refund offer or a request for a scan and usually when I offer a card exchange, I go way out there to ensure you are happy.

But, the word Negative is like using the N word out of anger, it's just as taboo and a big no-no

Doesn't matter HOW polite it is, you just don't use it in your opening hand because it IS viewed as extortion if you get the right ebay rep.
