Negative Feedback? Need Advice

I'm looking for advice from the members on here, on a transaction that happened during most of March. I'm not going to post his/her username (yet), just looking for everyones opinion.

On March 4th, we agreed on a deal, I'd get $30 that he'd send 2 or 3 days later, and they'd get a large amount of 2010 Magic base, minis, and a auto for their set. Almost a month later, on March 29th (25 days later) I still hadn't received payment. I waited patiently as I live in Alaska, and mail takes a lot longer to/from here. I PM this member and asked about the status of the $30, 2 days later I get a reply that said "I picked up tons of Magic cards in the past 26 days. I can't afford to buy the same cards again. If you're willing to work on a new deal (I have many other wants) that's fine. Let me know." Let me remind you that for the last 26 days, I hadn't heard one word from this person, last contact we had was I'll send you the payment thurs or fri. Now after almost a month of waiting they want me to find a new deal for them, though they agreed on the first deal, and never came through. Below is the communication from the original deal:

I have 3 stamps, when you didn't respond to my 1st pm to you, I put them on ebay, they are only at $10 apiece, with just over a day left. What's the point anymore though? He will leave a negative, then the other guy will leave a negative - and then the MODS will remove both feedbacks. This keeps happening around here lately. It makes the iTrader a complete joke, and the rules about retilations feedback don't even get enforced.

This is pretty f'd up when you cannot even leave a negative anymore for someone that obviously deserves it for fear that you will receive one, too.

PM the mods with the messages explained, tell them you are leaving a neg to warn other potential buyers/traders (which is the point of the system in the first place) and ask that if you receive a retaliatory negative they strike it.

Out of pure principal you should leave the Neg. Just keep the PM's and have it worked out with the mods if he does. If he agreed to a deal and backed out then leave the neg and deal with getting his removed if he leaves one later. He will need to mount a defense for his neg. and I can't see how he could.

If money isn't received when stated then no deal shall exist. If he didn't pay that day or the next then I myself would have considered it as "he didn't want em" & look for another buyer. If we gave negs for this all the time there would be more negs than positives!!

She is talking about me.

I didn't send my payment because she/he requested payment by money order.

I was too damn busy to go to a post office and send my payment.

I could pay with paypal immediately.

Also, I sent a message to seller saying that I'd like to work out another deal but the seller insisted on the original deal.

I blame seller, why the hell can't you accept paypal?

I won't retaliate, I'm not a n00b, I'm not some piece of garbage.

I admit, I was wrong but stop accepting money orders only, it's a n00b thing to do.

This doesn't make any sense at all. In fact the statments contradict each other. The first one makes it seem like you denied the deal due to the request of money order as payment. Then the next sentence makes it seem like you agreed to the deal but then "never got around to it".

Doesn't matter anymore. They remove both negs and even delete the thread. Same exact thing happened to me and I didn't even get a PM from the mods that it was done. Poof ... Gone.

How is avoiding Paypal fees a noob thing to do? Not everyone believes in Paypal and their stupid fees. Didn't realize that Paypal was a requirement to sell now a days. Glad to see some people not affected by peer pressure.

You found time to sit on here and make the deal, yet you didnt have time to get a money order at a gas station where you were getting gas? Seller has the right to accept any payment they want, you shouldnt have confirmed the deal and backed out. Who wants money going into Paypal now since the IRS can see more than ever with the new transaction laws. Money order makes complete sense, that is if the buyer actually pays.
