This is the dumbest ebay seller I think I have ever heard of. Taking you to court for 7$ and Neg f/b. What's the court cost to file a lawsuite, like 40$. Where's the win in any of this?

Dont you dare give in to this schmuck. I wanna open a dummy account just so I can leave them a negative. If you are a seller on Ebay and a buyer is not satisfied with the item or your service they have the right to leave the feedback they see fit. It is in Ebays rules I believe. Apparently this seller does not read the rules. In fact Ebay encourages you to leave feedback do they not?

yep...actually on the phone with them again right now and have submitted all of the proper info online as well, got a message from ebay last night to call them today to discuss it.

Also...if you look at the guys feedback...he has 98 revisions and some of the negatives have been changed in the last 24-48 hours.

I bet you he was getting limited or his policy compliance was getting low, so he did this as a last measure to save his account.

It would be something that ebay needs to look into. You really can't have sellers threatening to sue buyers over negative feedback.

regardless of the reason, its pretty pathetic.

...and for the record i tried to contact this guy about it when i received it and my impression was he could care less and was slow to respond. I had to send several messages to get a response. I don't like to leave a negative for anyone...if you check my feedback left for others, I had a similar problem with another seller and left him 2 positives and a neutral instead of a negative because he was nice about it. I leave honest feedback either way, I pay for all of the stuff I purchase, I try to be a good seller when I list things, I'm not out to cause anyone a problem.
