Also I took down the post with my little family history because I realized it isn't the best thing for a bunch of people to know your family's life...

not that the info is too revealing, but having people search for you is a bit strange

Anyway, I contacted Jane mentesana, a relative of Rob Berg (The scammer), and explained the situation - apparently this Rob Berg kid is a bad seed all around. He doesn't have any records but according to some of his family members, specifically Jane, his internet fraud is not "out of character"

lol, as much as id love to do that, a minor court case has to come first...once it is actually declared by a judge that he is in "debt" to me, and is proven guilty for scamming, then legal action can actually be taken.

sports card collecting is all about networking now a days

as long as we have trustworthy people who look out for one another scammers like this will never make it in the long run

Such an obvious scammer. He tried to get me to trade me with one of his fake cards in his fake photobucket for my Rodgers photobucket, but I smelled it right away.

I told him the only way I'd do business with him is if we do it through paypal, since he has no feedback. Then says he's got 100 percent ebay feedback...I stated that the ebay account might not even be his. He said we can both send at the same time with signature confirmation, which would be the most secure way of doing things. I told him 'LMFAO@that' and I wouldn't trust him in a million years to send with no incentive.

He didn't reply to that. I asked him why we can't do the trade via paypal to protect both of us, then he says his paypal account is 'broken.' I told him that's quite unbelievable considering the ebay account he links to can only accept paypal (and has several items listed). Then gives a BS long-winded excuse about him paying his wife due money via paypal (LOLOLOLOLOLOL) to her account, and it got limited access.

Looks like he's just spamming every single high end FS/FT thread on here looking for bites.
Oh man, this guy is a jackass. I hope you get personal justice, since he's so close to you. Seriously, makes me sick.

Irrelevant question....deal is done and people are allowed to conduct business as they please

In this new age of cyber technology, forum pm messages and IP log records are just as valid, prosecutable evidence as dna on a bloody glove in a court of law. Either way this a-hole is going to get what's coming to him very soon.

I really hope his profile is fake as well and he doesn't have kids. Because they will be missing daddy for quite a long time pretty soon.

Like I've been telling everyone who got scammed

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE...

FILE CIVIL COURT CASES AGAINST HIM

there is no possible way any of you can lose, given the massive evidence against him, and it is a sure fire way to get your cards back or a cash equivalent.

Not only that but it makes police forces jobs so much easier, since it can be a difficult process convicting an internet scammer.

I feel 25 dollars is well worth serving justice to this guy

Not to mention there is no possible way he could win any of the cases
