Satisfaction of lowering seller's ebay rating to 88%

Not card related but I brought an item on ebay yesterday for .99¢.

They had a buy it now for $200.

I bid at the last second and won with first bid.

I knew it was too good to be true because their feedback was 92% from another person complaining they got refunded after that auction ended at .99¢.

They refunded my money claiming that ebay screwed up and didn't set up the reserve. There was none - just a buy it now for $200.

So I left negative feedback and that brought it down to 88%.

I don't like leaving negatives but a deal is a deal and it's up to the seller to check their own listings and understand that a buy it now is different from a reserve.

Just my rant.

Obviously bad on their part. Good for you for leaving a negative, people like that shouldn't be selling.

Yeah, once I can see letting slide but when its obvious they do it often, NEG NEG NEG.

If it happened to me once, it would be enough to pay closer attn in the future.
