It's weird, but after speaking with ebay I found out I wasn't blocked but he won't allow anyone with a top seller rating to buy his items. Just found that kinda strange, and was wondering if anyone else ran into anything like this before.

Really? I don't even see that option on the "Buyer Requirements" page.

From what I can see, you can only block bidders/buyers for the following reasons:

*Buyers without a PayPal Account
*Buyers with unpaid items strikes
*Buyers with violation reports
*Buyers with Negative feedback score
*Buyers who may bid on several of my items and not pay for them

Edit: This TRS bought from him and left feedback - so obviously the TRS thing isn't right.

Are you sure you weren't blocked? This seller seems to have a short fuse. A few months ago, I made an offer on 3 sketch cards. He declined, removed the Best Offer function, and blocked me. I was surprised, but that's fine. I'll just spend my money elsewhere.

Wow, cardbooker. Sounds about right. I have no idea what the deal is...or why someone would do this. I guess he likes to just show off his items as opposed to making sales. I'm blocking him just based on principal.

Ive tried dealing with him on one card he has and while we never could come to an agreement, I was never blocked.

I guess it depends on the offer. He probably thought I was lowballing him ($100 total offer on sketches he priced at ~$160 total). The funny thing is, I tried to buy the cards a few weeks later at his asking price & that's when I found out I was blocked. I was willing to overpay for my PC, and he missed out on the sale b/c of his temper lol. Oh wells =/

By the way, I never sent him any messages. All i did was make an offer, just 1 offer, and that's it. To block someone for that is ridiculous. Don't put in "Best Offer" if you get easily offended. Ok rant over, had to get that off my chest =)

To answer your question Cardbooker...I have no idea if he blocked me specifically. I was told it was a top seller thing by Ebay, but you never know. I don't know how I got singled out. I tried to send him a message to tell him I wanted to buy some of his items at his price, but it won't let me contact him...so blah. His loss, so I found the cards I was looking for elsewhere.
