My first eBay case....

So I bid and win a lot of 2012 Topps cards. 465 cards out of the master set for a VERY good price IMO (<$30.00 + $7 shipping)

Get the cards on 2/7/12 and notice that 26 cards are missing (all of the 87 mini's listed in the origianl auction as well as in the picture)

eBay PM the member and he says
"Hi there sorry there is a second package on the way all the items did not make it into package 1."


So I wait - and wait - I even eBay PM him my address and ask for him to write me back to see if he has sent them yet.

After no response I log into eBay today and check this members current auctions and lo-and-behold he is selling a lot of 26 different 87 mini's.

Now, instead of listing them by number (as was in the first auction I won) he listed them by name (sneaky)

I pulled up the checklist and put card numbers beside the list of player names he had. I then checked these card numbers to the list of numbers in the auction I won and wouldn't you know it......they were EXACTLY the same!!!


Opened up a eBay case against him with links to both auctions, a list of the names and numbers of the cards as well as the email saying he sent them.

Once this gets resolved, I will update the members name so you can avoid in the future.

i would think you are going to have to return the first package before any resolution can happen through ebay

*Update*

After opening the case, I received an email asking what he can do to resolve this.
I gave him 2 options, end you auction and send me the cards I won
OR
Send me a partial refund of $6

Told him that I rather have the cards...


Just got a partial refund of $6.

So case closed.

What a hassle and now i need to get the set of 87 mini's! dang it.

I have like 3 or 4 minis I can send you. PM me your addy and I'll send them out in a pwe if you'd like, no charge, I have no use for them. I opened one blaster and rather have them find a good home.
