Like i said in my original post, there is no proof that this money was gained through the scams. There is no proof that the cards he sold were stolen from anyone, and as far as i know, no one has claimed them as such.

I didn't understand the part about telling the OP he should keep the money.

Hey yesterday, I saw a bank robber coming out of the bank and he dropped his wallet. Should I give him back the $40 I found in it?

I got a friend named Bernie. He had me sell some stock of his before he got busted by the government. Should I send him the $40 even though I know he scammed billions of dollars and the stock may have been scammed as well?

Now I understand that cards aren't the same as money (but why not?).

But you scam someone out of their cards, you don't deserve shite.

END OF STORY

i guess you forgot to highlight the part in the post and the other 2 previous post where I Said find the scam victims?? OOPS

in every post you highlited you skipped right over the return the money to the victims part LOL

And hell yea, if you can't find them then keep the money.

You sure as hell don't give it back to a scammer (especially one who tried to get you involved in his scam and possibly get you kicked off eBAY, and possible criminal charges).

YOU GO AHEAD AND RETURN THE MONEY TO THE SCAMMER AND WAIT FOR HIS THANK YOU NOTE SO THAT YOU CAN FRAME IT AND FEEL GOOD ABOUT YOURSELF.

That's because I never took issue with the idea of returning the money to the victims. Personally, I don't think it is a practical or wise thing for the OP to do, but it isn't flat out wrong like, say, keeping the money for himself would be.

How did he try to get the OP involved in his scam? Do you have any evidence that the cards the OP sold were stolen or are you just making things up?

Having the satisfaction of knowing that I did the right thing (both legally and morally) would be good enough for me. The fact that you don't understand that speaks volumes about you as a person.

I personally would get about $10 worth of pennies and send them, shipping should be around $30 for that. There is his $40...

The amount of ethics people are preaching on this thread is so comforting.

It's 40 dollars. Stop being a pansy and either take the cash or send it back. Stop having these moral debates about stupid little #@#@#@#@.

Either screw the guy and take the money or hit the bricks.

Stop thinking about it
