Long story short, I contacted a member (tripledouble) about a card they presented to me a while back (Vincent Brown NT /25)...back then, over a month ago, they were going for mid 50s- mid 70s so I think I offered him 60 paypal for it? Today I offered him 80 with the intent to go up to 90, since a Jon Baldwin recently went for 102 and I bought a Rudolph VIK /25 for 100, and I'd categorize those three guys in a similar young pass catchers ready to break out group.

I try not to lowball, but I do like getting pc stuff for solid prices and I had no idea this had just sold for 140 two days ago since it did not have /25 in the title. I obviously wouldn't have inquired had I saw the same exact card there. Looking on ebay right now I see a few /99's that went for 35-45 and some golds that went for 50-75. So I thought targeting 90 paypal was pretty fair.

Didn't want to create this as I hate drama, but hopefully it'll be put to good use for good buyers out there. Just a sh*tty move that was completely unnecessary and a big waste of time (that has turned into an even bigger waste of time creating this thread).

Just a heads up to save anybody else a headache...apparently it's o.k. in this guy's mind to make it appear he has something available when it's already off the table, and that's somebody I wouldn't want to deal with since I consider myself one of the better sellers on the forum and hold myself to a much higher standard.

I'm glad you posted this because these are the kind of buyers that I don't ever want to deal with. As Timmy said, I guarantee you that if you offered more than what he sold it for he would cancel and take the few extra dollars. He won't be getting any of my money.

A month and a half ago my offer was 60 because they were going for way less...that's why your last pm confused me...why would you say I offered 60 when my initial offer was 80 today? I copied and pasted the pm that said my offer was 80 and I still have it...idk maybe you need to read better?...and everyone knows there's room to barter back and forth...it's fine, I really don't care I'll just never deal with you in the future and neither will a lot of people who read this. and you're a jackass for asking him to make you an offer on the card when you'd already sold it 2 days earlier. what his offer was ($80 not $60 if I read above correctly) is beside the point...
