Default Lost a Lot of respect for this person....

Don't worry not a member on here....I think.

Anyways, I did a highend cash card deal for a 2011 Bowman Draft Bryce Harper Auto /350. I have dealt with this guy many many times, and no issues whatsoever. He was one of my good friends in the YOUTUBE community. Name is Vinny1227 on there. I saw the scan and it looked near mint, with possibly a little whiting on the corners and edges, but not too bad. I texted him questioning the scan, but he assured me it was mint, which I believed. He took it down from ebay for some reason, you can see it if your search "bryce harper bowman draft auto 2011". I think his ebay is bredman5 or something. So I received the card today, and boy was it damaged. 2 corners were dinged, crease near the top, and whiting on the edges. Auto is nice and clean, andcentering is pretty good, so it's a shame that it's damaged. I highly doubt that it could have gotten damaged on the way to me because
1. He's really near me, so I don't think it could have been moved around too much
2. Card was shipped in penny sleeve, toploader, and taped at the top all in a bubble mailer.
Also, I was going to trade it to another friend of mine for some nice stuff, but I don't wanna trade him a damaged card. SO, in the end, I traded full value for a damaged card maybe only worth $100. LMK what you guys think.

Here is his auction:

2011 Bowman Draft Bryce Harper Green Border Auto /350 | eBay

Here are scans of the damage.

Why he did not get it from topps.

That would make him as scummy as the person he got it from and apparently you as well.

OP what did he say? Tell him you want your stuff back.

He says that it's mint in terms of the card and it was mint when he saw it, all of them are damaged, blah blah blah tons of BS.

Card does not appear damaged in the eBay listing

If he packaged it in just a toploader and package wasn't 3/4" thick then it was likely damaged in the rollers. Shame he saved the one touch.

Tough one OP

How can you fix corners like that? It's busted up beyond saving IMO.

Would love to see the card now.

It's not totally fixed. That's impossible IMHO. I've been spending the last couple hours trying.

I'm confused. He needs proof that his friends told him that the seller knew the card was damaged and was going to screw him over?

So the card was shipping in a top loader but the picture shows it in a mag case. Very fishy. Let's hear it from the seller POV. I'm thinking scum.

I had someone who wanted it before and he understands condition of card. I am not actively trying to sell it, more people have approached me about it and they are well aware of the condition without me trying to fix it, as it originally was when I received it from the seller.

I don't think that's unusual. I took a picture of my Almora in and out of the case but shipped it in a toploader.
