Unhappy eBay problem... :(

Hey, I need some help from all you great members. So, I sold a Ken Griffey Jr. Lot on eBay awhile ago. The buyer didn't pay for many days, so I made a case against him. He finally paid, and I shipped the lot. Fast forward to today. He then gives me a negative because he said that there were only 5 cards, instead of 32, which obviously is a lie. What should I do? Contact eBay? Thanks for the help. I hope that I get this resolved.

I would contact ebay about this. He was just pissed you opened the case against him and he knew he was in the wrong. he could still file an "Item not received" claim though. I would tell ebay what happened and ask to have the feedback removed.

Yeah, he took over a week to pay, so he is in the wrong IMO. I sent him all 32 cards though. He's probably lying.

Lots of people out there to get you for whatever reason.

I just had a guy get pissed at me because a reemption card mistakenly got listed by me that I had already redeemed, didn't notice it until after it sold, so emailed the guy, told him it was redeemed, and he called BS and told me hes not buying it, and will make sure I pay for it.

I have 6,000 assessments, and no negatives in the last 12 months, I'm SURE i built all that up just to screw over one guy.

My point is, some people can't be pleased, and don't believe everything, or if they are really not pleased, will make something up so they can make the situation go away and feel better about themselves. It sucks, but it happens.

This is the first neg this guy has left. Was there any communication before he left the neg? Any possibility some cards got lost along the way?

I didn't know anything was wrong until after he left feedback. He never messaged me to try to resolve the situation. I probably would have given him a refund if he would have messaged me before he left feedback. I highly doubt that any cards got lost. They were all securely packaged, and they were mailed in a bubble mailer. I really don't know what to do. He's to blame in this situation.

Did you try and contact him before you left the feedback? Also does it state how it your description how long they have to pay?
