Default Bid retractions... wow!

Admittedly, this is a kind of pointless thread.

However I know a lot has been made out of a member have 20+ retractions on ebay in the past 6 months and I noticed some unusual bidding by someone completely unrelated -

eBay.com Item Bid History

Item has been bid up to the other bidders maximum (yet not beaten?) by someone who has....

959 retractions in the past 6 months!!!!

Bidding Details

Wow.

Could assume this is shill bidding, but even if not, that's a LOT of retractions!

Sorry for wasting your time if you read this

To me that's too many to still be allowed on eBay.

Nope not shill bidding with 12% of bids with that seller but if he is the shill guy for multiple sellers that could be a possibility.

Is that why you had over 50 in a one month period before you started using a new id?

WAAAAAAY to many indeed. There is no reason this shouldn't kick up some sort of red flag on ebays radar.

On the same hand when sellers don't report the invalid retractions it doesn't help much either.

Sorry, I think that's a little naive. Bidding percentage does not tell everything, especially if the bids are retrated and then lowers the percentage.
To me, this definitely looks like shilling, especially when the cards ended for the max bid of the other person, and the 12% guy who bid 6 times found out the maximum bid and didn't go further.
If he had bid and been leading I wonder if we would have seen the 960th retraction...

Here is your buyer.

I thought it was a shill bidder too, but now I don't think so. Just an international idiot.
