I love it when you types stuff like this. MITM's majority of feedback comes from when people were sending him free base cards and he was leaving feedback so they did the same. Very little money exchanged hands on his first 300 transactions.

It's not his fault, Eric was slow to pay, OP overreacted and made a witch hunt thread.

I am looking at this from a perspective of: if you're not going to at least communicate with me, maybe I'll take my bsuiness elsewhere, I'm trying to place myself in Eric's shoes on this one. I don't hear anything for 5 days, the deal's off. But that's just me.

Was a "deal" completed? Even if it's for free and the cards arrive safely, how is that not worthy of feedback? It shows that someone can be responsible with cards they literally aren't making anything on.

....again, your logic escapes me. MITM agreed to buy the card, CODYJM sent his paypal address. It's MITM's responsibility to pay now. Why should CODYJM have to ask for payment? He gave him 5 days to pay, which is similar to ebay's 4 day policy...then simply asked when he can expect payment.

MITM then responded with a rather rode "Never? I thought the deal was off? You take a week to get back to me everytime and I told you I don't like that." - the bold part was later admitted to have been false, as you can see in the timeline on page 2.

I couldn't disagree more with that. He is a just a very good trader and a good guy. Add those 2 things together and you get a guy with a ton of feedback.

Do you really think he hhas 300 people sending him base cards?

If this is in reference to me, then no, not at all. I think you did a stand up job here admitting to fault and attempting to make everything right. I'm just not sure about some people's defense of the situation.

No horse in this race, just posting my view. It didn't take 5 days, it took 14 hours. And I will quote where I believe the deal is done and MITM should have paid (and where I would have expected payment). Below is the end of conversation on day one.

9:25 PM Me - It is yours
9:28 PM Eric -Ok, I will pay shortly $24 to ashley.wasson@ymail.com for the Fleener Finest on card auto /101. Thank you sir.

^ At that point I would personally wait until I received payment to respond saying something like "ok thanks i got your payment"

So to OP: I see your frustration, and make sure to leave appropriate feedback. The system is there so future users will understand what happened. What is "appropriate" depends on the person, it could be a negative, a neutral, or a positive with a warning stating you had issues or what not.

Now to MITM: I respect that you came in here and acknowledged your mistake. However, you should have done it to begin with. You may, or may not of honestly misspoke with your first post, but I hope you will do right in this situation and you and the OP can be satisfied in the end. I do not personally know you. With that said, I still believe you are an established well-known member here, and this will not deter me from dealing with you in the future (assuming you have a card I desire).

Moral of the story: Don't assume things, whether it be that a deal is done or a deal is dead. Assuming things makes an ass out of u and me.

IMO- Nothing more you can do there man. Please just be honest going forward. Your 1st response was not very genuine/truthful.
I think that palmdesert or whatever was give a ton of shat for not paying on ebay. I know ebcardi is given a ton of flack for not paying on ebay as well. So when the kitchen gets hot just take it like a man.

I find its pretty amusing that with all the douchebags and scammers allowed to troll these boards that everyone is up in arms about this. Get off the guys back. He screwed up. He admitted it. Thats alot more then most of the clowns on here would do. I was unaware that I was surrounded by so many perfect people. I have seen the words "I will take it" in my sales threads dozens of times and never been paid or even responded too by the the members who said they will take the card. Its hard to tell someone not too do something on here, be it good or bad, when they see everyone else doing the exact same thing. You are only kidding yourself if you dont think slow shippers dont know that they have the upper hand on people on this site. They know they can neg you if you complain about shipping time and thats why they ship whenever they feel like it. Monkey see, monkey do.

You weren't here at the beginning, so you really have no idea how it was when MITM started up. I admit that he has come a long way, but a zebra cannot change his stripes. There was a lot in the beginning, and we have never been on the same page. I feel that he did not come out right away and say, oh shoot, I should have paid right away rather than saying the OP never communicated with him. That is a lie. The OP sent address, its MITM's issue then.

I never said anything regarding his original post, only that his first 300 FB being base cards sent to him was a joke IMO.

I think he was wrong, but It's pretty hard to find a member without a blemish on their record. Especially one with around 700 transactions. He made a mistake, and fessed up to it. Can't do much else.

They both admitted wrongdoing...hence they are 110% okay with me just based on the "mea culpa" that so many people can't seem to grasp when it comes to transactions
I agree. I mean yeah he #@#@#@#@ed up, no doubt. Gotta admit it when your wrong Eric, and do so right away.

I think it will be okay though. I also think he has come a long way since joining this site. I think many of us have. I like MITM, he's alright.
