I can't stand the sudden flood of Michael Clarke Duncan autos hitting eBay. I also understand sell when the person is in the news, but this makes me ill inside. One of the bidders on this auction is at 100% and I'm guessing the other top bids are no legit either.

This happens when virtually every notable celebrity dies. I can't blame the seller for selling when there's a demand. I don't see shilling from the bid history. Bidder with 100% has only had 1 bid in the last 30 days and isn't even in the top 2 bidders currently.

OMG! That's horrible!! Thos seller who has had over a 100 listings in the last month has a bidder who has placed 1 bid on 1 card!! He should be publicly executed!!!

Please get a clue before trying to tarnish a sellers reputation.

The card was never worthless even before his passing..i just feel like using RIP in the title is in bad taste. Shilling is very hard to prove which is why EBay usually does nothing.
Maybe I'm in the minority here, but its just wrong to profit from a death.

Don't see anything wrong with the auction and in fact, "RIP" in the title isn't going to get him extra hits or anything. Not like he's putting it in there abusively.

I always hate this argument. Buyers deserve the same amount of blame that you are giving to the sellers. They after all are setting the price by buying them at death bump prices. No need for the morality police to get involved when buyers are making their own conscious choice.

Yeah there's always some moral police officer making judgments against a seller who is embracing capitalism.

I get it. I understand opportunity only knocks for so long. Maybe I'm just sensitive to this specifically because I met him, and he was a really great guy. Very engaging and nice. It was a great experience for me and my son who just watched Armageddon the day before...my son was very awestruck. Just sad about it I guess because I generally liked the guy.

if you are offended by this then you would really hate a good gun or military show. Love finding some great war relics of fallen soldiers of all countries. Especially the ones with great stories from one of the world wars

edit just saw your above posts. I was not offended at all. There are many that feel the same way.

the funny thing here is this runs both ways. i had three MCD autos from Pop in my store for $50 each for weeks and weeks and weeks. i checked my email and sold all three to three different people within minutes. i jokingly said to my wife, "did he die or something?"

so buyers will jump on deals from poor unsuspecting dealers too as soon as the death call is made from the hospital.
