Coolcards isn't worth dealing with

Made a deal for a small lot:

going out of crads quick sale

We pm'd back and forth about a price and when he could ship. I almost backed out because I wasn't confident he would ship when he told me he would, but he told me everything was already packaged up. So I went ahead and paid with the understanding that he would ship on Monday, 9/17.

He's an hour away from me, so I should have had it fairly quickly. He pm'd me Wednesday wanting to know if I was interested in "high end baseball". I told him I was more interested on when my package was being shipped. He told me Thursday and he STILL TRIED TO SELL ME ANOTHER CARD.

At this point, his communication stopped, so I filed a Paypal claim and escalated it this morning. I still have all of the pm's between us, so it's fairly clear he was looking to rip me off or is unorganized to the point that he shouldn't be trying to be buying or selling anyway. He has posted as recently as yesterday, so I know he's still trying to wheel and deal.

EDIT-- After filing the Paypal claim, he posted a message on Paypal that said, "I'll print the label if you close this claim." Yeah, I'll pass on that offer..lol.

Just avoid him. It's easier that way.


UPDATE---I finally received the cards yesterday. The P.O. label said it was mailed on 9/26, so he waited until I escalated the claim to finaly ship the cards. I still wouldn't deal with in the future. Just not worth the trouble.

I'd avoid anyone who can't correctly spell the word "card" on this particular forum.

Thanks for the heads up. I hate guys that do that. What a waste of time. I would add him to my ignore list if I actually had one.

This guys actually not well liked on the BlogTV sports cards community alot, he has filed alot of claims (such as joining GBs) and such stuff and really gotten alot of the breakers to dislike him.

I've been selling some lots- trying to make some money to get some Shorts/Rainey. I don't allow myself to spend paycheck money on cards (not that I could afford to anyway).

Well it all played out accordingly but he screwed me out of $25. I had come to realize that 85 cents per package for DC was going against the profit grain so I cut it out- should have kept it on for anything $20 or more. He claimed to never get his 3 lots purchased so I of course refunded him. Now here we are and I'm not the least bit surprised.

From my understanding, coolcards is a kid.

He was banned @ SSC about a month ago.

For a $40 lot, I'll trust the post office to get it to my door instead of driving a half hour to meet up with a total stranger.

I made the mistake of trusting the kid, hence the Paypal claim and this thread.

Funny how communication starts up again after a claim is filed. Whatever you do never send gift payments to anyone. Thanks for the heads up on this guy and another addition to my ignore list.

This kid is probably the most hated person on BlogTv like already mentioned. He would join group breaks and if he didn't hit anything, he would immediately file a claim. He is around 14 if I'm not mistaken and like others have stated just stay clear of him. He also has several names on BlogTV including the aforementioned coolcards as well as HighEndSportCards & basecardz.
