I'd deal with Wheeler any time, and probably ship for free so there would be no problems.

You overcharged for shipping, then you get mad about the DSRs you receive? Pretty weak OP........

Be an honest seller and you will have no worries.

Oh and insurance is a seller protect not for the buyer, so the seller should always pay the fee.

Don't be a money grubbing weasel and over charge for shipping, and then you won't get dinged on your DSRs. $4 shipping for a simple small bubble mailer and Pay Pal shipping is ridiculous. Unless you hand delivered that bubble mailer to me, I would bring your DSRs too.

Free shipping=automatic 5-star for your shipping price DSR.

You know what I have a problem with?

I now have to charge $2.25 for shipping. I used to be able to only charge $2. I had to up my shipping charge because of stupid eBay sellers jacking up shipping charges to attempt to circumvent eBay fees. Now eBay charge the fee on the auction price AND shipping.

It's too bad so many people out there were/are charging $4, $5, and higher for shipping as it really effed it up for eBay sellers who were trying to nail the cost of shipping without bending over the buyer.

I charge $2.50 for shipping and I usually end up taking a loss just because I don't want to charge anymore.

I actually buy the mailer, sometimes if I'm lazy or in a rush from the PO. that can be $1.19 by itself. Then depending on amount of cards it can be another $1.95 to $2.80. Then add the delivery conf on top of it, plus the standing in line while the post office has only 1 person working. I don't have a home printer, to lazy to hook one up to my laptop LOL, so I can't get the reduced shipping/DC through paypal.

Decent Printer $25-$35
Bulk 000 mailers $0.08 to $0.15 each
Bulk shipping labels maybe around $0.45 each OR 1/2 sheet of computer paper $0.01 or less
Paypal/USPS.com/Stamps.com shipping cost for UP to 3oz First Class $1.64

Add $2 to your asking prices and offer free shipping. The end

Not that you are looking for advice, but seriously hook up that printer. $1.64 beats the heck out of $2.80 and waiting in line!!!

I have a Sam's Club membership (wharehouse store) and I get the 6x9 bubbles for about 0.19 each. I know I could buy on ebay for cheaper but I don't feel like buying 500 at a time lol.

So for me:
$1.64 shipping with DC
$0.19 bubble
$0.25 final auction value on shipping
$0.17 paper, top loader, penny sleeve, team bag, ink

Don't complain if you're too lazy to hook a printer up...

I bought 500 bubblers for $.12 a piece a while back. Plus waiting in line at the USPS is super lame! Hook up your printer!

I agree with Bloom on this. I also think Wheeler is a tool.

Someone on here (not wheeler) gave me low stars on everything of mine, after waiting over a week to pay. I charge $2 shipping and shipped next day. All I know is a 4.7 DSR will get you banned from eBay. So i can't blame the OP being upset. More of an eBay problem than buyer problem.

Hint to all, if you are like me (debating, will voice an opinion) DO NOT have your eBay account on here. People will try and screw with it, as a member did with me, probably because he didn't like me.

My only problem is since wheeler is a good member (IMO at least) people are backing him. yet I see a bunch of these threads that would be for the OP. Crazy how people react when it happens to a member we like compared to a OP we don't really know.

I believe $4.00 for shipping is high but when it is stated in the auction & in the shipping price column then a buyer should have NO excuse leaving anything other than the 5 star DSR especially since they agree to the shipping cost by buying or bidding on the item.

I agree, so would 99% of this board. If the member name was never stated, people would of agreed with the OP more willing IMO.

+1. I have no issues with Wheeler, but he did know how much the shipping and handling would be on the item. It's not like it's a mystery.
