Ebay Buyer Heads Up

Since this Section of Blowout Seems to be About Ebay Members as much as it is about Blowout Members I figured I would give a heads up.

Ebay Buyer wheeler281 is one of the ones who Will Gladly bid on your Items and then not like the Shipping Charge and Ding your DSRs as a Result

The Buyer Paid Fast but for those who Value your DSR ratings you may want to avoid.

Yeah, Wasn't there a thread a few weeks ago on Ebay Shipping Charges?

Personally I have no problems with the Buyer but Rather Ebays Whole DSR System, it just seems flawed that you could have your Selling Rights Revoked because of how your Rated on 1 of the 4 Ratings?

Because as far as I understand it, you can have them revoked even if 3 of the Ratings are a 5 but if one is below 4.6 your right to sell can be taken away? Or is this not true?

not true. i lost my top rated seller status removed for 30 days as they go by percent so if you sell high volume and you get one here and their no big deal. but if you dont do alot of volume and get 2-3 in a short span you percent goes down it is in your seller dashboard and you can click on it and it will show you if you are close to losing your status which means ALOT considering i get a 20% discount in fees. hope this helps

I don't do high Volume, in fact I only have 22 feedback and in the DSR ratings I only have 14 Ratings, But I haven't been Selling that long Either

The Buyer has the right to voice his or her displeasure over your shipping charges. To make a call out thread because he thought you charged too much is ridiculous. The DSR is there for what? OP for what?

I usually charge $4 for shipping (if it will sell for over $50)

I insure everything, along with gas and supplies, I always pay more.

IMO, why should the buyer pay for insurance when it doesn't benefit them?

I never charge for shipping

That eliminates many problems

It benefits me if something happens. I have had one item damaged in shipping (cam newton contenders, stolen out of package, $200 at the time). Id rather pay $2 for insurance than $200 out of my pocket and no card)

If the buyer does not like the shipping charge they should not bid. They enter a contract knowing a fee up front. The whole DSR system is going away or going to be revamped from the last seller meeting notes I read. I just hope its true.

Listen you charged $4 shipping. I gave you the benefit of the doubt that maybe you had to buy some usps postal mailer(which is more) and did not use paypal shipping thus costing you more in general even with delivery confirmation

I got a mini bulk mailer(as tall as a 12oz soda can) with the paypal shipping label. You no doubt overcharged thus you received the DSR rating you deserved. BTW I would have loved to have seen the pre edit post. Once someone posted my profile link I noticed the original post was edited.

They ask "How reasonable were the shipping and handling charges?" Answers being Very unreasonable, unreasonable, neither reasonable or unreasonable, reasonable, and very reasonable I picked unreasonable. Ebay does ask why did you bid or please do not bid. They request you rate after buying

The whole do not bid if you do not like the shipping charge is bogus. Thats why they have the DSR's and I take everything into consideration. I am not out to ding anyone. If you in fact spent $4 then I was gonna be fine. I suspect you spent 1.67 or less

I was a powerseller for years until I was dinged a few times recently for charging $3.25 for my triple bubbled, explosion proof packaging with added freebies.

I think that Wheeler fellow bought from me too, I be he is the reason I am now limited.

Either way, love him I do.

I add an extra $1.50 to everything because a bar near me has $1 PBR's and I like to give a per drink tip of $.50
