Default Advice on ebay purchase (no contact)

Hi guys, my apologies if i'm posting this in the wrong section but i need some advice. I won an auction for a single card from ebay seller acegrz on 11/7. I instantly sent him a message and informed him that i was bidding on four other cards that he had up for auction and asked if it was ok to try and win the others, which ended in 6 days, so i can take advantage of the combined shipping rate. His communication was on point at the time and he said it was not a problem. Sooooo, 6 days later i win four more cards and instantly pay for everything. That was on the 13th of November. Since then, i have sent at least four messages requesting a status update as my cards are still not marked as shipped. No reply. Seller has 0 items up for sale now. Am i being impatient and paranoid? I got the cards at REALLY good prices so i hope everythings ok and he's just a really busy guy. Thoughts please?

How long did you give him to reply? If more than a couple days it wouldn't hurt to go ahead and file a claim.

No reply since the 13th of November...In one of my messages i said that i understand how hectic it gets around the holidays, but to please at least let me know if the cards have shipped. That was around Thanksgiving. Didn't get a reply. I've checked my paypal history so i know the payment went through. Acegrz...if you are a member here, please contact me asap. All i want are the cards

Thanks bigzig...never had to file a claim before. Would that be with paypal or ebay? Maybe both? Dang, i knew that Anderson Silva relic i won for $1.04 was too good to be true.

You can only file with one or the other. I personally would just go through paypal.

If the guy is really that uncooperative make sure you leave proper feedback after the claim is closed.

Thanks for the advice, i'm probably going to give him a couple more days to respond, if i don't hear anything by then, i'll go ahead and file the claim. It sucks because he seemed like such a cool dude. It takes a lot for me to post anything negative about anybody.

Understandably so. I'm pretty lenient myself, but from what you're saying it seems like your getting dicked around.

What about trying to contact the seller via other social networking sites, like facebook for instance? Would i be going too far?

just FYI you only have 45 days to file, so that first purchase is coming up soon.

Wait 10 business days for items and then instantly open a claim. Dont bother about posting or worrying. Let paypal do that for you.

Thanks for all the help guys. I'm still fairly new to ebay and paypal. I opened my ebay account in summer of '06 and made my first purchase in October 2012. Since then, i've been hooked!
