Here is a post of mine from another thread. Would sure have helped in this case.

When exactly is a deal finalized? Ask 100 diffrent people and these will be the exact responses you will get

25 people will say a deal is finalized when a paypal addy is exchanged

25 people will say a deal is finalized when money exchanges hands

25 people will say when an address is exchanged

25 people will say when both parties say "ok, its a deal"


Everyone has thier own opinion of when a deal is finalized. So if someones leaves you a negative because in thier opinion the deal was finalized can the other person leave a negatve as well for backing out of the deal because in thier eyes the deal was not finalized. A trade manager would solve this problem instantly. If the "agree to trade" tab is clicked then its a finalized deal. If the "agree to trade" tab is not clicked the the deal is not finalized. It would not allow buyers and sellers to leave negative feedback based on thier personal opinion of when a deal is finalized. Because as I stated up above, everyone has a diffrent opinion.

I've dealt with Bars and Bar and the prices are always great. I bought a lot of 3 cards a while back, a Reyes Triple Threads Auto /75, David Price Triple Threads auto /50 and a Cliff Lee Triple Threads Auto /99 for $45 DLVD and sold the Price a week later for $40 by itself. I've also tried to deal with Marlinscards and every time you agree on a deal with him after 6 hours over being haggled over a buck right away he will haggle some more. It will be something like you get a message saying "if you do it for 21 dlvd i guess ill do it"... The you respond "ok so were good at $21 DLVD then. Here's my PayPal". 2 minutes later you get a PM that says "I don't really need the card, if you will go to 19 ill do it". Also, he says he's a kid and on a budget. Isn't this the same kid on a budget that posted pics of his Josh Johnson collection consisting of some ridiculously high end VERY pricy JJ cards? I'm so tired of this crap.

I think you are getting ripped because you are not always a man of your word.
You now have 3 negs for the same thing.
if you say you will take it, make a mistake and hate it....pay for it anyway and consider it a lesson. Trying to go through life getting lessons for free will cause you no end to the pain.

Or keep going as you are. I am sure 1-2 more will see you on SCF where the deal is not a deal till you agree to the deal in the trade manager...gives you all the time in the world to back out and that sounds like your kind of place to me.

He deserves all 3 negs. You don't get one just bc a member wants to screw you over, you get one because he deserved it. Since marlins thinks out bet was a " misunderstanding" I'll explain. Week 3 of the nfl he wanted to bet 7 games 3 dollars a game. He chose 7 not 8 so there was a clear winner no tie. We were tied going intoSunday night where I had the ravens and he had the pats. I won I asked him to pay and he said he would tomorrow and he didn't and ignored pms. Could care less it was 3 but it was the principle
