I dealt with a man named Jay Morgan in March this year and he scammed me of a Kobe Bryant 04/05 SP Signature Auto. He was under the username oncardauto.

I'm trying to read through all these threads about "Haiku", but am so confused.
Can give me a quick summary of what's happened?

-Brandon

No idea what her name was but I know she had an accent maybe phillipino (I would know there are tons in Hawaii). Make sure your talking to a claims specialist apparently there are different people in paypal to talk to depending on what you need.

That could be vital, any way to get to a Claims Specialist?

It actually doesn't sound like Haiku at all.

As long as people continue to be greedy and lack common sense, they'll continue to be scammed. Odds are many of Haiku's victims will, or have, bought fake autos, altered patch cards, counterfeit cards, trimmed cards, purchased hot packs from eBay, etc. I applaud your optimism, but anyone with the capability of learning a lesson from this situation was probably wise enough not to be involved with it in the first place.

Not sure there is a quick summary beyond Haiku fd a ton of people over.

But I did notice the oncardauto reference several days ago and pointed it out.
people seem to be too busy making baseless accusations to try to connect one known scammer to another known scammer.

thank you for bringing it back up.

This is interesting. This article is from 10 years ago in a Virginia newspaper(found on google), and has a refernence to a Jay Kim Morgan to being convected of a crime: "Jay Kim Morgan, 22, defraud innkeeper (three counts);"

Murder suspects indicted, summer trials set

When I dealt with Jay Morgan, I sent my Kobe to Alexandria, VA 22312 on 2/27/12.

I think he may have fueled these "random lots" of his with cards he's previous scammed people of. I wouldn't be surprised if my Kobe was in a lot.

Have some people got the lots and some people haven't?
What happened with blackmamba?

oncardauto's first post says he is from Virginia, just like Jay Morgan/Haiku.

Hello! From VA

I opened my dispute on the 11th and called to have it escalated that night. I said item not received and when I called today I referenced that the dc was uploaded on the 11th and there have been no updates and she said I will just go ahead and give you your refund now. I was thinking you meant the 27th of January is how long you had to wait. You could probably get your refund now if you mentioned the dc activity not moving. That is if you filed as item not received.

I wonder if people who escalated have to wait, but those that havent yet can get their money back now because there is nothing to review officially through PayPal?

Either way, she said I would get it back one way or another on or before the 27th, so not too worried.

If you go to paypal.com under the contact us link you can get a 6 digit passcode to prevent you from waiting. I had no wait whatsoever both times I called.

Somehow or other, that thread got turned in to him being the scammer,
and now a few people seem to think hes in on this Haiku thing as well.
Despite not having been signed in for months until those threads got bumped up.

The 6 digit passcode isn't for bypassing call waiting, it's for paypal to know which account calling..

Fair enough. I had no wait at all either time. Maybe don't wait until evening to call then. This is probably when the other 300 scammed blowoutcard members call paypal.
