Sure you could speculate (like everyone wants to do) or you could, you know, take a tiny bit of action and just call the police department yourself to confirm it.

Im actually impressed how everyone came together to try and get details on the man (MEN) who robbed our fellow board members

There are so many rabbit holes. I do not believe that Blowout Members were scammed by a mastermind named Jay/Jae or whatever. The scam was conducted by a group of small time punks that attemoted to pull off a larger scam but it got too complicated and called out faster than they all thought.

I also believe that there is a mix of members in on it from so called respected village elders and newbies. It was a good scam but the "Haiku" scam that was carried out is no where near the complexity of that done by Bernie Maddoff.

We are giving the scammers way to much credit, we/me/us/some let our guard down and were fooled.

In the end the scam moves on for it to happen again, it never happens by the same individuals or they are caught later on down the road.

I can be 100% positive that if Blowout offered a free case of cards to the capture of the scammers this would have been solved days ago.

I'll just say that the official Blowout post about the situation referred to Haiku as Jay Morgan. I would bet they have more info than anyone on this site considering Pat runs a fairly well known business and this is site is tied to it. I could be wrong but if Haiku is not "Jay Morgan" I highly doubt they would have named him in their post.

At the end of the day it doesn't matter. The truth could (most likely is) starring us right in the face. But people believe what they want.

"Haiku" could post a video of him, with the cards in question, laying on the carpet, logging into his @me email and paypal. And some still would not believe it was him and come up with more "clues".

He is a ghost, and any possible link is buried in these 9,000 post of bickering, wild guessing and just plain crap. Over looked and past by.

It pains me to think that whoever is involved in this is basically just sitting back thinking to him/herself that they just had their way with some of the most educated collectors out there.



And here we all are scared to trust anyone and not knowing if even our most respected members were involved or not. I just hope it all turns out well for all those involved.
