You are right, we should have followed the rules.

Gator I wasn't questioning if you were part of it. Just wanted to know if you knew anything.

No circles needed. I'm sorry people are getting f'd over but when somebody says "maybe gator is a puppet account for haiku" I'm going to step in a vouch he is not. Is all I said. Don't like it, don't talk to me, I won't lose sleep over you tonight.

I want to know how much did Gator get from Haiku, to publicly claimed he, "love" him.

Maybe I'm way out there. But what did all of you guys text and talk to him on the phone about? That just seems a bit creepy to give someone who as been a member of a message board for six months your number and then text/talk to him every day.

The only time I had ever heard of stuff like this was from Mr. Hanson on dateline and it involved old men and underage kids. This is just beyond creepy to me. Maybe I watched to many of those to catch a predictor episodes.

That just seems beyond creepy

Well, since I'm the one who asked, I'll just say it's not uncommon for the more advanced con men to build up puppet accounts. Given the level of support Gator was providing Haiku, I felt it was worth asking the question.

I bought a blind lot and got a Lebron James SP Sig Auto w/Insrcription. I received the card and was supposed to get eith 2,3 or 4 boxes of Topps Chrome. I do not expect to see any of that or the $222.22 for a "mystery lot".

We should all lick our wounds, file a claim and hope it gets settled by PayPal. If it doesn't we need to move on and learn. I had the money to waste on the mystery lot but many do not and I hope that it works out for ll involved but DO NOT be surprised if it doesn't work out. This guy knew what he was doing and covered his tracks and made sure that charge backs would take a long time if they do get paid.

text - hey man are you looking at the same star I am?

Haiku - yes! It shines so bright like the gleam in your eyes

I admit I was wrong, I have had no part of this though. I just took the man's word at face value, and apparently I was in the wrong for doing so.
Unfortunately, the real world ruins the internet for a lot of people and the internet ruins the real world for others!

I mean, some members here have my number. ibleedbattlered is even included on my XBL family plan. It IS possible to forge friendships beyond PM's and emails on a message board like this.

granted, if Freddy gave me any weird feelings before, I wouldn't have included him on my family plan where he would potentially have access to my CC.

(Freddy, i'm too poor for you to get any grand ideas )

Just for the record, there is a chance some people get their money back. Anyone who paid gift/got their stuff already and were shorted, are probably SOL, but those that only recieved tracking numbers still have a chance. Scammers aren't going to care who gets scammed, as long as they get their money. Whether its from PayPal after they pay out the claims themselves or us ourselves, he still gets his money. There is a chance that he lets these claims go so that there is some time between getting his money and the process finally playing itself out, and by that time hes gone and PayPal is stuck with the bill. We will see, its a small chance, but its one of the possible outcomes.
