Also not to muddy the water here but this feeling of the scam of Haiku feels eerily similar about the Phillippines guy, Bryan Ang (former attyball ebay acct), who scammed people thousands on exquisite cases.

A Thread from Blackmamba24 on here months before Haiku joined the site claimed 'Jay Morgan' thrived him. The thread is actually quite entertaining to read especially once his 'dad' posts for extra help.
He stated his name was Jim Neubauer and Brandon. Anyone look into any of this?

Starting to agree. This guy is good, and probably not the first time he did it. My guess is he will not get caught anytime soon. Everyone is on edge, and nobody trusts anyone right now. See below. Haiku was God-like around here up till a coupke days ago. Most who were dealing with him had no trust issues at all. If they did think something was awry amd dared to bring it up, they would've been burned at the stake.

Jim & Brandon Neubauer were the names. THE OP HIMSELF GAVE HIS FULL NAME AND IT IS STILL IN THE THREAD, so please no attacking for the name drop.

I have a lifelong friend who lives less than a mile away from me. We talk cards on a daily, visit often and both love the hobby. I have helped him sell, gave him pointers, etc. I have Zero scans of his cards and would never even think about asking for them. Bayzhead you live in CO correct? But were with him in CA when he pulled a card, and have scans of all his cards from 6 years ago? You referred him here right, but when his itrader starts yours ends @ nothing since?
And once again All-Star the fact that "your" cards were up for sale multiple times by Haiku before all this happened, just says to me that Haiku's cover would be completely blown if you would've seen him post your cards any day he had them up for sale. If you see any one of those cards being sold NO ONE here gets scammed on the mystery lots. I mean don't tell me you told the guy he could sell your cards before you got anything from him. You started your ebay account at the age of 11? And started selling high dollar at 15 maybe 16? I'm done now... Good luck all in this huge mess

From what i understand he was sticking up for someone who he thought was a friend. It just took him awhile to realize he was wrong.

Yep, gonna follow Grants lead, with a last long post on this matter.
I still cannot believe some of the naive questions being asked. Here it is with everything answered, hopefully.

1. He did a bunch of low-end deals to start-----to build itrader.
2. Started throwing cards and cash at everybody.
3. He picked the easy "marks".
4. Got everybody in his corner.
5. He saw the mob mentality here-----thats why anybody with doubts or questioned him or got hosed early were afraid to come out against him. You all saw or were part of the mob that would attack these people.
6. He had helpers along the way----knowingly or unknowingly, who knows.
7. It got to the point that he didn't have to do anything but sit back and watch his army of minions do the work for him.
8. Started trading for high end cards with cards he didn't have----with all above listed----who would deny his request to send first? Then strung everyone along with the BGS delay bullshat.
9. Started "Holiday Lots" for the motherlode. Really??? Started selliing those early, stating a Dec. 18th ship date. Can I get a big RED FLAG there.
10. And here we are.

This was your basic "too good to be true" scam. This was all PLANNED. Things did not happen just by "chance". Bottomline, it would only take a couple thousand dollars of start-up money to do this.

Hopefully this answers most of the questions.

Somebody local to this guys "area", should see if there are any local card shows coming up soon. Would think, that he would try to move alot of this stuff pretty quickly. If the Mods had any BRAINS they would shut down all the Haiku posts. Let the people who were stupid enough to send him money without knowing wtf they were getting, Pay Pal and the authorities handle it. To many Magnum P.I.'s here who don't know crap and spreading rumors and accusing other members. Like I said before the Mods are incompetent, they are fast to ban or suspend a member for cursing ect.., but they let this mystery lots BS go on for so long in plain sight.
