For the few times I have paid by gift I know at the time of purchase the money is gone and will never be back. Of course the list of people I would send gift to is very short.

What is the $ figure that you estimate he is getting away with? Like $100? or $1000?

I would love to stop it, but it is pretty hard to not feel bad for oneself when you get scammed like I did. Of course I wish everyone would give me $1 for the amount that I got ripped off. I know it isnt going to happen, but at this point I am so upset that I dont even mind asking for a sad hand out

That's the price you pay for sending a stranger paypal without knowing what you're getting. He can send you all lumps of coal if he chooses. File that in your paypal claims when they asked you what you purchased.

Call the police, call paypal...tell them what you purchased.

Supposedly this guy was rich, but then needed a bunch of money and made lots for avaerage working class people to buy. It's sad to see this happen to you guys. I would think, if I was rich, why would I waste my time on this forum when I could go to any card show or bid on eBay for any card I want. It doesn't make sense.

Agreed - there is a VERY short list of members who have dealt with each other and feel comfortable doing this.

I have no idea who this guy is, or what he sold ... but I do know a lot of people on this forum lost a lot of money as a result, and I would not be so cold as to say this situation is "entertaining".

Maybe he got this way from the money grubbing whores on this site who begged him for money and the 60-70 pm's a day asking for super deals on a some cards to flip and make a profit? I did send him a message about a week ago asking how he had so much awesome HIGHEND cards and he said he buys in HUGE lots of cards. I doubt the guy is out to rob someone though..
