Well this would create a nice end to the whole thing if true. Already escalated my one claim and escalating the other tonight. Afraid PayPal won't see it my why though. If he can get to his account why can't he just do the refunds himself?

I know he accepted gift payment...a friend of mine just realized he accidentally sent as gift. Thankfully it was for one of the smaller lots.

I know his last name, as he told me, but not sure if it truly is his last name. He liked to keep most of his life a mystery.

- Haiku decides he doesn't want to ship out the cards.
- People file disputes.
- PayPal places holds on his account.

If he decided he didn't want to ship out the cards, why not refund the money? Why have people file claims?

even if paypal put a hold you can still manually hit the refund button. Especially if he did not spend "one dime" ..There is no waiting for process to play out.

I don't buy the story.

Also the fact that he says he hasn't taken the money and left it all in the account ???? All I see is that PAYPAL placed temporary holds on all of the transactions... So he wasn't allowed to cash it out. Also I don't see a balance, or enough evidence to show that he didn't withdraw any possible transactions.

Going away for 2 months seems ridiculous.

I will leave about a 30% chance that this wasn't a deliberate scam and he just got in over his head and now is making up excuses.

I'd leave a 1% chance that he isn't making up excuses and this is just all one sad story.

This is not true. If his account is negative he cannot refund money. He cannot manually refund payments.

Can't believe nobody has asked why he didn't take a screen shot of the current balance and standing of his account.
