Answer to all the questions I hope

I am trying to defend myself here from a few accusations against me that certain members have.

I have been a member here since April of this year. Love being able to read all the threads pertaining to sports, cards, and all off topic subjects. Never had any problems with anyone. All my transactions within this community have been great. Along comes Haiku who starts up with his glory threads. I see he is giving great deals and free stuff away (or so it seemed he was at the time.)

He starts this frenzy of people starting their contests, and generally being nice across the BO community. I read his threads regularly, even participated in a few and purchased some low end stuff occasionally. I see that he wanted to buy some RC QB cards in one of his threads. I decide to sell a couple I have to him. I felt like being a nice guy and sending them to him for free since he did "so much" for the hobby. He tried to pay me ebay value but I finally "convinced" him to only send a dollar. I saw that he sold them in his "amazing" sale threads. My only intention was being a nice guy.

I immediately messaged the seller that I needed the card ASAP since I was about to move away from Hawaii (where I was stationed at Schofield Barracks) due to a medical discharge. The seller responded that they would go out on the 14th-15th. When I saw that there was no DC uploaded I messaged the seller r_hansen_11 over the next 5-6 days I continued to message the seller about the card and my DC with no response. I finally had it and messaged him one last time that I was going to file a claim and Neg him. I got the message back that it was his brother and that the family member had been in an accident and they would get the cards out. I asked for a refund and filed my claim and gave him a neg. DC was uploaded later that day. During this whole process before I knew the seller was stringing me along Haiku posted a thread about wanting to buy up Foles cards and I messaged him asking if he wanted to purchase the card once I received it, he said yes. Once I thought I would not be receiving the card, I messaged Haiku saying I thought I had just given the seller a payday loan, in which Haiku replied he hated people that scammed (ironic.) I kept my claim open until I received the card and recorded it on my iPhone. Opened the package, saw it was the Foles 6/10 and it had no damage so I deleted the video. If you take a look at the seller's feedback he had a series of Neg's that happened when I also had trouble with him. I then sold the card for 100 dollars due the fact Foles was not playing great. Haiku attempted to sell it but ended up giving it away to Ray.

As for the speculation about my address, I just moved from Hawaii on 1DEC2012 after being medically separated 30NOV2012. I flew into Orlando because that is where my vehicle is being shipped to and my home of record for the Army is in Florida. My father is a LTC stationed in Tampa (MacDill AFB) and is about to deploy soon. Spent 2 weeks with him and drove up to Charleston, WV with my wife, 3 sons, and German Shepperd. We left at 1100 and finally made it to our destination around 0345 last night. I drove most of the way and only when my wife was driving could I read 49ers thread about the huge scam happening. I couldn't get to all the threads to read on my phone because I get car sick after a while, plus I was very tired from driving all day.

As for some people quoting me saying that Haiku used to have his name on his paypal and that I still trusted him, etc. It is my nature to believe people are good until I have solid proof they were in the wrong. I am sorry if this offended people and makes me look bad. After reading everything he did to people I know this was an elaborate scam, and am wishful everything gets resolved for all parties involved.

Please believe me when I say I had absolutely nothing to do with this nor did I have any outside communication with "Jay Morgan" besides through the BO forums. Sorry for the long thread, but I just do not like my name being dragged through the mud for no reason

i am not accusing you of anything, but you bought a sweet Nick Foles /10 a week before he started for 122 shipped, then sold it to Haiku for 100 while FOLES was the HOTTEST player in the hobby after he started...after fees you lost 30 bucks...my question is WHY? So until that makes sense, I am on the fence

so not only did you cut him a sweet deal on your Foles, you gave him roughly another 100 in free cards?

I understand being nice is one thing, but to give that type of deal to a person you DO NOT know is a stretch to me..

It isn't really a stretch at all. It is actually par for the course. Every single Haiku "victim" shares a common characteristic and the OP seems to fit that to a T.

David actually lived in Hawaii like he says. When he first started dealing, we made some deals. Paid with PP goods and the prices were reasonable (a little under Ebay but the cards were not for free!) The packages arrived from Hawaii and the deals went smoothly.

I can see why he would have given Haiku such a great deal. At that time, Haiku was the best thing to happen to this board. Why not pay it back a little bit? Hell...a whole group of people were ready to take a collection and buy a monster card for him!

@razor I really was just trying to be a nice guy. The wilson/dalton + fillers were just because I wanted to give something to him since he had been such a nice guy. The deal on the Foles was based on his gameplay. Kind of a bet if you want to call it that. Hindsight is always 20/20.

Looking up an email on AKO does not verify anything. I believe his story. Since he is out you cannot look him up on EDAS you can only verify through his DD214. He would be crazy to send or post that document.

Basically his army email verifys nothing; since he is out of the military he would not be in the system or record to verify anything; the only way to verify at this point would be his discharge paperwork which I dont blame him for not posting. Again I believe his story so I dont care. Im just clarifying it.

The whole Haiku thing doesn't have anything to do with me at all as I never dealt with him but if people ask for proof he can post his certificate he got for his discharge
