This buyer bought this item and this item. The buyer paid on 12/22/2012(Saturday), I shipped the package on Monday the 12/24/2012 and the buyer received the package on 1/2/2013. The buyer left me "thanks" positive feedbacks for each item yet left low dsr's across the board. AVOID this buyer.

Make sure you report the buyer. If he has made a habit of it, the low stars will be removed.

I did report it and emailed the buyer, the buyer denial is hilarious. Caught red handed and completely denies it, I don't get it.

Man I hate to ask this ... but are you 100% sure he left you low DSRs?

Also, you should know that it is against eBay policy to contact a buyer about DSRs they left you. Not that I care, but the buyer could report you for it ... and you know how eBay loves its buyers.

Think you should have approached differently with the initial message to him - frame it as if he had made a mistake or something, rather than accusing and attacking. Other than that, yeah it sucks he got defensive and left bad ratings on a positive transaction.

screw that, the ass left dsr's he can't change. I called him out on it.

Nice! Thanks for the update. I got an eBay email today that some "low" DSRs had been removed. Apparently I got a 4 for the shipping charge DSR in the last month. LOL

I've bought stuff from you, and I can say that I was very impressed with everything, price, S/H, everything. I even hope to buy from you again. I fully understand the need for a 5 star rating as a former eBay powerseller, but is it worth calling this guy out in a forum? Isn't blocking him from your stuff enough of a punishment?

The DSR's system and ebays complete effort to not protect the seller is the reason I quit them all togeather. I guess I'm wondering, is it this guys fault, or eBays for protecting this behavior.

You make a very good point, I can assure you that I do not post every negative experience. In this situation, the buyer wouldn't even admit to it - he just lied about something I had confirmed was fact. I have obviously blocked him and shared his user id for others to make their own opinions. If by doing this I save this buyer from leaving just one other low dsr, I did a good thing.

DSRs are not anonymous if you know how to run the reports. However, you aren't technically allowed to confront the buyer about it. I personally couldn't care less, but ebay says you aren't suppose to.

I was more concerned with the fact that EBAY says one thing and then did another. That is shady behavior in my opinion and makes me question whether they are on the up and up on anything.

Short answer? No! eBay has been digging a hole for a while now. It's a shame really. I loved it for many years.
