Yep, I was looking up completed sales on a couple items a few weeks back and came across an odd price on one. Checked bid history and sure enough, a bidder on it with 270 something retractions. I guess their red flags are "out of order" on the bay.

Sellers aren't reporting the invalid retractions when they happen. That is how yhey get away with it. You would think Ebay could keep track of it on their own, but they don't.

There are members on here who think there is nothing wrong at all with regularly retracting bids.

The most I have seen on one bidder was 646 retractions in a 6 month period. There is no reason at all that that should be allowed to continie to happen.

Watever I did it once cause I entered wrong amount and went back to enter correct amount as it tells me to do but that doesn't count

Entering the wrong amount and a "change of heart" are two entirely different things. Which is it?

The solution for sellers to use the option to block bidders with more than X bid retractions over the past month. Easy enough.
