LONG READ: BlackandGold

So, for those of you who don't know I supercollect Patrick Robinson for the New Orleans Saints. I've kind of been a closet collector of his until I established a decent collection but this has been going on since he landed in New Orleans. Unfortunately I wasn't in a place financially to pick up his 1/1's that surfaced but things have turned upward since. I also was very open about my Chris Ivory collection, I still think he's extremely under-rated. Well to make a long story short I was forced to sell most of my Ivory's back in April and I approached a member: Alan (BlackandGold). I sold him a large lot including the Contenders Championship Ticket auto 1/1 of Ivory. I simply asked that if he ever decided to sell that he would give me a chance to purchase it from him. Well not long ago, I get a PM and we agreed on a price and I sent the payment. A couple of days later.... BOOM!

Well, I PM'ed him back thanking him for the card and for giving me the chance (knowing that it was his card and he could do as he pleased). I haven't checked the mail since Thursday of last week because I wasn't expecting anything and low and behold I get a large package yesterday. I saw the name and it was Alan, I opened it up and to my surprise....

I was/am absolutely floored. I just want to say that amidst all of the crap that goes on there are still guys who make this hobby enjoyable. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!

I am very grateful for Parker to be happy with the Ivorys. He is great member who should also get recognition for his contribution to the blowout community. Enjoy Parker I call him (Ivory) beast mode version 2

Wow. Very cool gesture. Hats off to Alan. I don't think I've dealt with him. Which is surprising since he's got a lot of feedback, as do I. Weird.

I also have dealt with Alan on numerous transaction and have been very very pleased with every one of them. He is as standup as they come. Thanks for sharing your positive story as this lace becomes negativeville so often that the true nature of why its here is lost... to collect cards.
