And I actually think they got the right impression of you.

ok, sorry for not buying a card, sorry for not sending you $70. sorry to everyone here for getting the wrong impression of me.
What a flake. Point is that you agreed on a deal and reneged. If you had declined while still in negotiations, that would be a different story. But you had poor communication (or perhaps more appropriately avoided answering) and apparently a bad attitude.

Man, the buyer didn't even make it ten posts before exposing himself as a liar who lacks the integrity to stand by his word. That may be a record. Well done.

Yes, I believe we have the right impression of him, thank you for making this callout thread and exposing him for the deadbeat buyer that he is. I will make sure to avoid him in the future.

It's not the fact you changed your mind. It's the fact you told him you wanted it, he held it for you, and then you bailed without an honest reason.

Probably would have been a little different had just been honest and said you changed your mind rather than "sorry I don't have any money" and then post a buying thread

Just got a PM from another member saying he's had problems with this buyer.

Yep. You're only as good as your word.

Which nobody's word in this day and age means a damn.

It's a travesty.
