Mine's not. Yesterday I had a guy ask where something I sent him was, which made me a little worried because I didn't quite have enough to refund him if I had to (though I'd be filing an insurance claim and could pay him back after that was resolved), but the cards arrived today. Maybe it's an older account like mine is, possibly one where the previous credit card expired or something.

You really should post this member's name regardless of getting your refund. Many other members would not have been nearly as patient as you and don't like giving out Paypal loans.

And yes, he still deserves a neg.

Agreed.

It's great you got your funds back - that's the important thing - but the whole situation is ridiculous and the rest of us should know up front who dragged this along so we can use our judgement during deals.

Agree 100%. Its would be a fair warning to other members to post name. But maybe because you got your refund, you don't care if this happens to someone else by dealing with this member at a later date. I'd say, if you don't name the member, this thread was useless.

As of right now the op of this thread has not given a name and has not left a negative feedback for anyone.Hopefully he does this soon as the person who did this to him could be doing it to someone else as we speak. So its none of my or anyone elses business that a member is on here doing stuff like this? It could not be more our business then it is. OP, please give this person a negative. The lack of commuinication should tell you that you would never have seen your card or your money back had you not taken action. If he's done it once he'll do it again.

I'd bet he probably did do it before and that person did NOT leave negative feedback. Had you seen something like that on his feedback score would you have still dealt with him? That's the ramifications of you not leaving a negative ... the next person will have no idea about his history and this process could very well play out again.

So ... even if you have no intentions of letting us know who it is so we can block the user, please do the right thing and leave the feedback that is deserved.

in the end I won the case almost immediately upon PayPal reading my claim. so it wasn't that he refunded me the money
