Update on this dumb bitch

My Paypal claim was going to finish tomorrow on the 19th and I would have gotten my money back. Today I get home and their is a package from her (welikesports) I open it up and saw exactly what I expected, she sent some inserts instead of what I paid for. She also updated Paypal with the tracking number. So I just got off the phone with Paypal and I told them what's up. They escalated the claim to a received wrong items. The lady on the phone told me the scam artist has another 10 days to respond and even if she does I can just send the cards back and get my refund so either way I'm hoping to get my money back. I hope this dumb biotch rots in hell.

What is the world coming to, even girls are scamming people...

Also found out she is trying to scam about 4 other people, I don't know why they haven't left negatives yet but they should.

So this is officially my first scare on the website. I purchased a huge lot last night for 525$, now im not going to name the person because their is no problem yet I'm just a bit worried.

So we make the deal and I pay, first thing that was weird the seller told me not to write anything in the description on the Paypal so I only typed in the title saying money for Blowoutcards hockey lot. Second the user said they would ship today, I message the user seeing they were on and asked if my cards were shipped. They didn't respond, seeing they were on I sent another message asking for an update I know it might have been kind of annoying but I just spent 525$ and if your online why not message me back? Anyways they answer saying they were at work so I'm okay with that, they said they would be shipping after work.

In the second message I also asked the user to please PM me the tracking when they ship. Okay so about 2 hours later I get a message saying that my cards were shipped but the user didn't use tracking because they never use tracking.

Now should I be worried about anything? I sent a message asking for a picture of reciept on shipping, user has been on but has not replied to that.

I know it's soon but I'm just kinda worried because its a big deal. The user said I should receive my cards on Monday or Tuesday.

Can I get some opinions of what to do in this situation?
Thanx for the read also nothing against the user at all I just think that this deal was a bit weird so far as I've never experienced something like this. The user has all positives by the way!

UPDATE .. I pm'd the member to let them know i filled a dispute and i just received this messege from the seller

Soi have perfect feedbackand you fileda dispite.

Nah if it doesn't come in like a week contact him again and if he doesn't respond file a claim

But you have nothing to worry about as long as you paid goods.

I was thinking the same thing.


I wouldn't be super worried yet unless it's a brand new member or he has spotty feedback. Seller is an absolute moron for not using tracking let alone the required sig confirmation on a $500 lot though.


Also fyi, jut because the green light is on doesn't necessarily mean the member is actually on. My phone keeps me logged in all the time.

i suspect if he was going to scam you he would have uploaded tracking and sent you a box of rocks since he had you leave the item field blank.

I never ever leave the field blank. I do it more for me to remember which transaction belonged to which payment though. Still, my red flags would have been going nuts when someone said to leave it blank. Paypal will still cover you but it was a strange request. That and who doesn't track a $500 shipment? If nothing else to protect himself. There would be nothing to stop you from saying the cards never arrived and filing a claim. Even if you received the cards, he could not prove it and you would win. I use tracking on ALL sales.

Thanx for the advice guys! I talked to the user and he assured me cards went out and all that. I will not be naming the person as I promised them. I will keep everyone updated for sure

to be honest, I'd be worried. Who doesn't use tracking for such a large order. Looks fishy to me. Hope it works out for you.

I agree with Clarka on this one. I don't know how the seller could possibly have a case with PP if something were to go wrong and he did not have any type of tracking number to back up his claim that he shipped.

As for the second comment, I can't believe I'm saying this, but I would put my trust in PP at this point with the whole Buyer Protection thing.

Now had I paid cash or check or something like that it would be a whole new ballgame.

Awhile back I had a seller say he didn't get tracking on a $150 item saying "With the volume of shipping that I do each day, I cannot afford to include tracking."

Sorry i wasn't clear. I wouldn't be worried about the money per se. He is covered through PP. I was focusing on the transaction and the deal going through. My apologizes.

No tracking on a $500 sale...sounds to me like you just became a payday lender. I hope I'm wrong but wouldn't be surprised given all the crap that goes on here.

Example 525$ instead of $525

If he doesn't respond and is logged on i always have my ipad on the whole day without being on blowout so it says i am always logged in.

Surprising, to say the least, that they wouldn't include some kind of tracking with a $500 shipment. However, Paypal's buyer protection will cover you if there's a problem.

My guess is that the seller has their reasons for not wanting to ship with tracking, but asking you to not include a description is pretty odd. Let us know the outcome.
