Default How much time is enough?

I purchased a card from a member on 4/7 and have not received the card. I was supposed to receive a dc# last week but nothing. Member has been emailed numerous times but no response. When is it ok to leave a negative? He has over 200 itrades at 100% so I felt ok to pay via gift. Wrong. I hope I didn't get screwed but if I did, luckily it's only $9.

it has been long enough ,

has member been on and not answered your repeated attemps to contact ?


if the feedbacks is 200 and 100% maybe wait on neg to actually find out the truth , not saying it is or is not deserved .

but yeah Gift ?? just not good in any instance especially when the fees on $100 is only3.30 , so anything less or even more is worth paying Goods for coverage and proper use of the rules here

I find it very hard to believe somebody with 200 feedback would throw it all away for a whopping $9.

What about when you are only selling a redemption code? You have to take gift so buyer can not open a case for not getting anything with DC#.

What's to stop you (not you specifically, just the seller) from taking gift and then giving the guy a used code? You should never just email a code. Always ship them the entire redemption card.

This happens a lot to people. They will get the runaround and then not post the name of the person once they "make it right". I know you are worried about getting what you paid for, but at the same time we are a community and since most sane people will agree that what happened to you is unacceptable no matter if you do end up receiving what you paid for, you should have the courtesy to out the member in question.

Also, don't be afraid to leave the member in question a negative feedback even if you end up with the card since the overall buying experience was negative. "Making it right" shouldn't get someone off the hook for shady business dealings.

200 feedback and 100%.... The 100% doesnt mean much anymore. We have seen people take a few weeks and members wont leave a negative. We have seen guys back out of deals to sell to others and/or raise prices and not get a negative. 100% isnt what it used to be. From the sounds of it OP would be willing not to leave a negative 2 weeks later as long as he gets a good "reason".

Its all in the eyes of the beholder. Some people get stressed out when items take 3 days, others dont care as long as its within a 2 week time period. Not to long ago 10 days was the norm. Now for some reason 4 days has become the expected. If I get my items within 2 weeks I wont leave a negative. I have my reasons. I dont freak out when my card isnt there in 4 days and I dont even email requesting DC or updates until atleast 10 days has passed. Quite honestly 2 weeks works for me and I could care less if it works for you. (Not you specifically but the general you). I'm not going to ruin someones rep because others expect something in 4 days. And for the record - I ALWAYS SHIP NEXT DAY (gotta let that be known or I'll be called a scammer) but understand when others cant for whatever their reason is.
