It's an online retailer with really inexpensive prices on boxes and cases. He doesn't have any of them. Give your money, you won't get it back. Just a warning for people who may stumble on his website. Still confused?

I actually did stumble upon their site, and was considering ordering. Thanks for the heads up. Do you have any specific details? Did you get scammed, or what?

It's a major scam. Business is located in Canton, Ohio but the phone is a mobile device located in Dallas, Texas. The deals are way too good to be legit, plus he's giving 10% off and new referral incentives. You can pretty much get a Bowman Jumbo box for $70 based on the math.

Well I see one that is located in Surf City, NC. I guess that's not the same one?

Edit: I also found this one. Don't know if this is the one in NC or the one you guys must be referring to but this one seems to have pretty good prices. Has 2012 contenders for about $115 a box.

I was searching for retailers online for some boxes that Blowout didn't have in stock, so I tried ordering a couple from them. He calls back after I call their number asking if my order was shipped, and the guy starts telling me his credit card company is giving him problems, so he cant ship from his distributor, blah, blah, blah. He said he would refund me. Never got it. Luckily I paid with credit card, so I should be covered, but the guy is a total scam artist.

That's terrible. I signed up for the website, and got an email within a couple hours asking if I needed help with anything. I thought that was kind of odd. Hopefully he gets shut down soon.

I had to file a claim for a purchase from them a couple months back. Right around the release of Contenders.

If its the one on ebay im thinking of I bought a graded pack of I believe it was 87 or 88 fleer basketball from him and really couldn't see the graded sticker but I figured it was legit and when I got it the pack was put in a graded pack container thing like psa would use and said some hockey bs on it for a graded hockey pack or something. He did refund my money though but still was pissed about it. He tried at first saying you can send it to psa and they will switch stickers and I said no I want a refund and he refunded me then.

I don't think that the ebay one is this surfcitysportscards. There is another one with that name.

I'm also having an issue with them. A new phone number has been listed as an 888 and the twitter account they had has been deleted. Looks like I'll be contacting GoDaddy. Shame on them.

I'm still finding them on Twitter. They still have that other number up on their site. This scammer reads these boards and complains about us talking about him, yet is a coward and can't come here and explain his punk ass.

The first hint is that it allows you to purchase up to 1,000 of an item on the site.

Default Knew their Chrome prices were too good to be true

Just reported them as well. At least it was a credit card payment. He actually called me back after I left a message regarding my boxes. Said there was a shipping error, etc.

Did you purchase through ebay? If so file a paypal claim. If you paid via a credit card call your CC company and request a charge back.

I dealt with a situation similar to this in January.

After I read this post I e-mailed Surf City and asked to cancel my order and refund my money. Because I used my PNC Bank Visa Check Card, I filed a dispute/claim. Lastly, I filed a complaint with the IC3 above.
