Default what feedback should i leave

i claimed a card that is for sale on a thread and then pm'd the seller and got no reply after multiple messages. Do i leave feedback? if so negative or neutral?

You claimed a card, but if the seller never agreed to a deal with you then you have no right to leave feedback. Thats my opinion, maybe I'm missing something.

Can only leave feedback for transactions not hurt feelings. If pp addy wasnt exchanged no deal

This. You can claim a card all you want, but the seller isn't required to sell it to you, or give you first chance. Until he says it's yours, and PayPal address is sent, no deal.

This is correct.

From a legal perspective, unless there is something which says "first to contact" or something similar (and you can prove that you were definitively the first to contact) there was not an offer to sell. Rather, it's a solicitation for you to offer to buy the item at the posted price.
