just do everything "right". Tracking, package it up well, and use sig confirmation if the dollar value is high enough. If you are scared of a scam, I would use sig confirmation at a much lower threshold than what ebay suggests.

Don't ask me how much I want to offer. Come with a price in mind. If I don't want it or think it's worth that, I will let you know.

Thats what I'm thinking...it was only $100...but still...thius is the first time I've ever had a 0 feedback buyer...if he was even 3 or 4, I've been fine with it...go figure

For some reason, that name sounds very familiar.

Eh, we all have to start at 0 but I understand your hesitation. I actually sold something yesterday for $52 to someone who literally signed up for ebay that day! It was a t-shirt, not a card but still.

i (somewhat idiotically) started this thread a few weeks ago:

ebay question regarding possibly sketchy seller

buyer paid and immediately left good feedback when they got the cards. no issues. we do all start at zero, and it sucks that there are people who cast a negative shadow over some ebay buyers. your risk is there, but cover all bases and the benefit of the doubt may be in order. always a weird situation i guess.
