Default How patient should I be? 2 weeks, no cards

EDIT (evening of 3/26): cards were in the mail today, but postmark on the stamp/label shows 3/22, and tracking shows acceptance on 3/24

--------------------------------------------------------

I just want some opinions on what to do next as I haven't really had many issues like this.

I bought a Ryan Mathews Contenders auto and Marshawn Lynch Contenders auto on 3/12 from MeteoriteGuy. The thread in which the cards were listed is here. PayPal info was given and payment was made all in a reasonable time frame (same day, probably within an hour or two from first PM).

I didn't get a PM with tracking, nor was any updated to PayPal, so I sent a message on 3/16 asking for a shipping update and got a reply (late 3/16 PST, so technically 3/17 in Kansas) of:

Quote:
Thanks for your message. I was not able to get them out Friday as I had to mess with my dad, but will get them out today. They are packaged.
Based on what I saw, he was only on 3/12, 3/16, and 3/19 with posts on all those days. So I assume he's only on a few times a week so I was patient. It is now 3/26, two weeks since payment, but even if it was shipped 3/17 I should've gotten it by now (I haven't checked today's mail). I sent another message on 3/21 asking for another update, but he hasn't been on since 3/19 so it's not a surprise that I haven't gotten a reply.

So, should I wait a little longer, maybe till the weekend to see if he comes on or if it comes in (because he shipped later than stated)? I have not seen his name thrown around any threads so I don't see any history of any issues. I don't want to make a big deal out of it, but my patience is starting to run out. I have not had to file a PayPal claim for a refund before (only a few times through eBay).

Thanks in advance.

open and immediately escalate a claim

it's gonna take 10 days or so to run its course anyways and you can close if it arrives

Two weeks is too long regardless if the seller is only online a few times a week. File a claim and get your money back.

2 weeks is also enough time to account for usps issue.
Since it appears you dont have a tracking # and are not getting timely replies,
file the claim now.

Dont close the claim until you have a refund or the item in hand regardless of whether the seller now provides tracking. wait for then item or refund, then close.

so I figured I'd check the mail before filing a claim and the cards were there today!

the postmark on the stamp/label shows 3/22 so it wasn't shipped the Monday before (3/17) as I was told, and tracking (which I only saw because I now have the package in hand) shows acceptance on 3/24.

but I am glad to finally have the cards in hand.

now, as far as feedback, is it wrong to leave a positive with a comment like "got my cards, but it took over a week to ship," or is that neutral-worthy?

Sure, if slow-shipping and being lied to was a positive experience for you. Its just my humble opinion, but this is why this type of garbage continues on here. No repercussions for "paypal loans", slow-shipping and lying to customers.

Neutral OR Negative all of the way - you got lied to on the ship date, is that a positive experience? You had to waste your time even thinking about the card and contacting the seller when it all should have been shipped and taken care of on the 17th.
