Default 1894 $20 gold double eagle

Hey guys, very very rare piece of history here, also some rare pre 1933 Gold. Coin weighs 1.2 oz and is 90% Gold 10% Copper. Do not expect to buy this for melt value. The rarity of this coin speaks for itself and also the condition of this one will bring tremendous value as well.

Asking $10,000. DLVD OBO

Thanks,
Daniel

If its worth as much as you it is, it's worth it to get a year long subscription just to get it graded. That will only help the value.

I think you mistakenly added an extra "0" to that price. Maybe an AU50 at best because of the red markings on the reverse. 1,368,990 minted value is closer to $1,885.00.

this one is a 62, looks a little cleaner than yours...so i'd say you might get a 45-50 on yours? Either way, i'd get it graded...you'll get more than raw.

Awesome thanks for the link.. I was hoping to get a 2nd opinion on what it might grade. Obv. the 10k price on it is just there to get offers. I wouldn't expect to get 10k out right for this coin raw. I just dont want ppl on here offering me less than melt for it.

yeah...that whole "must put a price" thing.

Nice looking coin though...good luck with the sale.

I'd guess $1900 or so?

Thats what I have heard.. I think it is inevitable that it goes up, but I am hoping for a quick rise in value as compared to 5-10 yrs for 200-300$. We shall see

So you're basically hoping for another economic collapse.

Sounds good to me.
