LF: Gift Cards

Hey guys, I am always interested in gift cards and willing to buy. Cards of places I frequent most are always going to be at the top and the ones that I pay for, usually %10-20 percent off face value. If it is a store I do not frequent or even go to often, I am still willing to by but it would have to be worth it for me. So if you receive a gift card for $50 for example to *name store I have never heard of or been to*, I would be willing to pay $30-35 because I just don't go there. But if you are looking for cash then it seems like a win/win you know?

Below is a list of places I am ALWAYS interested in:

gas cards
iTunes
Wal-Mart
Grocery Store (big chains: food lion, lowes, harris teeter)
Old Navy
Restaurants (date nights w/ my wife)
Barnes & Noble
Coffee (Starbucks & Caribou)
Eddie Bauer
REI

Things of interest for my wife and I: clothes, electronics, movies, books, outdoors, etc.

So if you have anything cards you are looking to move then let me know and we can work something out.

NOTE: I do not shop often so for most clothing stores (depends on store) I would probably pay a rate of 25%-30% off face value.

Any questions just ask. If I am interested then I will do everything I can to work it out so that both of us are happy and hopefully make some deals.

So what you're saying is, is since you don't shop for clothes "often" we should sell you the card for 70% less than face value. That way, say we sell you a $100 Old Navy card for $30, you then get $70 worth of free merchandise. Seems logical.

Hes offering to pay 10-30% off so for a Old Navy $100 give card he would pay $90-$70. Way to use your brain though

You got me. I read an "of" rather than "off"

haha, that's straight. Old Navy is a store that I would frequent though. Places like American Eagle or Abercrombie are places I don't go. So for a $100 Old Navy card I would probably pay between $80-90.

The concept behind the percentage to pay is if I got a gift card somewhere that I would use, I would be happy receiving any amount of cash because it was a gift. So if I got $65-90 for a $100 gift card I'd be happy but I know everyone is different.

Entertaining read to say the least, haha.

I have a $50 iTunes and 2 $25 Bass Pro Shops. All three for $75.00. Individually, $40 for iTunes and $40 for BOTH Bass Pro. LMK. Cheers!
