Default Koscheck vs St. Pierre

Is St. Pierre going to take him down again like 2007 or is Koscheck going to beat him in his home town? Koscheck grew up 45 minutes from me in Waynesburg, PA.

For entertainment sake I hope the fight is good, but I don't see Kos winning and I hope he doesn't. Not too thrilled about the undercard fights to say the least.

I like both fighters but its gonna be tuff for Koscheck to go up to Montreal and beat GSP in his home town. GSP has the edge in wrestling IMO (not that Kos is a slouch), Kos may be a little better in the stand-up, either way I dont see this one going the distance. Staying true to who I am, I cant root for a canadien over an american so i'm gonna be pulling for Koscheck in this one

Man, I almost bought tickets for this but with the holidays right around the corner, the girlfriend would have killed me.

But still, we are going to a bar near the Bell Centre to cheer for Rush.

Koscheck is gonna get a lot of heat from the fans in the arena. Like A LOT OF HEAT... hope he's ready for it.

I think if they stay standing Kos has the advantage but if GSP can take him down its going to be a long night for KOS. This is GSP toughest fight IMO because kos is an excellent wrestler but he has also improved his striking by leaps and bounds since they last fought. One weakness Kos does have is his guard so if GSP can control him and do what he did to Hardy GSP will have it in the bag.

I want to see Kos take it. I would like to see some new blood hold the belt. GSP plays it safe too much as of late.

Possibly, but having someone a little abbrasive holding the belt - can't be that bad. I rather have someone who speaks out and talks some trash - than the pretty boy who is does everything perfect (just to bland for me). I think Kos could be entertaining - and that could draw fans. I could be wrong though. Just my way of thinking.

I like trash talking but i think in a sport of martial arts you also have to respect people and kos is just a straight up dick when it comes to anyone but him. I respect his talent and ability but would never cheer someone with a personality like that. Theres guys that talk trash but also respect people i think he needs a good ass whoopin to get taught a lesson.

GSP is a lean, mean fighting machine. I don't see Koscheck winning it at all unless he gets super lucky with a knockout punch.

Gsp does play it safe sometimes, I agree. He must know something though cuz he keeps on rolling along. Somebody told me, I heard nothing of it, that GSP was gonna wrestle for Team Canada in the next olympics? Anybody else hear anything about that? I cant believe for a second that Dana White would allow that. He is obviously under contract with the UFC.

Its funny because Kos did the same exact thing to paul daley. GSP is a fighter but a very intelligent fighter. He is not going to take the risk of getting knocked out when he knows he can win with his wrestling. If it works keep doing it until someone can stop it.

I know about 12-16 months ago reading a couple different places that the Olympics were on his mind. Cant really see Dana being able to stop it, if nothing else he can retire and come back when he's good and ready. Not like fighters have never done that before.

You should check out Stubhub.com. Prices have nose-dived; you can get in for about 1/3 of the original face value.

i hate MMA but would like to see Koscheck win a belt. I went to college (Edinboro) with him. He used to scare the crap out of me in the weightroom (he wrestled, i swam for the Scots).... but just showing a little school pride.

Struve is awesome
Howard vs. Alves should be great.
Stevenson once was a big name.
Oliveria is a JJ whiz

Card looks decent to me, the main event carries it.

Also the last time GSP fought a great wrestler it stayed on the feet and this happened

That's a far fetched idea as he would barely be in the top 5 of his division in wrestling in Canada I believe

I despise Koscheck. I hope he gets what he deserves and then I wanna hear his lame excuse just like every time he lost on the show or how he made up a lil conspiracy theory. I want GSP to work him bad.
