I have the opporuntity to buy this, but am unsure at what price is fair? I havent seen any completed listings on ebay to compare to. When I do buy it, should I hold on to it sealed for years to come or open and bust? Any help would be appreciated!

i would take as many as you can get at that price. They sell for 600-700 on ebay. If you arent into MMA id flip it, but me personally, id bust it for 300 dollars.

I got real lucky about a year and a half ago and picked up a couple boxes for $100 each.
Busted one and sold the other on the bay for $289. Nothing great out of the busted box, but a good deal for buying and selling. GET IT!!! |

is there really a better chance at making $500 in proffit on singles versus flipping the box?

The only singles you can hope to get thatll flip you a good profit would be red autos or gear/autos of the bigger name guys. If youre strictly flipping, just flip the entire unopened box.

Youll eventually open all 12? then why wait to open them, im just curious.
You could still open and hold the cards if you think theyll increase in value.

OK, I bought the box today for $300. Now what?
is UFC/MMA the new boxing and here to stay for decades??? if so, it would be wise to leave my box sealed and watch this puppy soar over time? Are there "Rookies" in this product like in other sports? I know nothing about MMA.

Whats the hisotry of this product? Are hobby boxes at an all time high now or did they peak recently? will they go back up in value? if so, what would cause that? anyone who can help me, it would be great!

UFC Cards are valuable, the older ones at least. They are starting to pump them out very fast right now so the round 1 and 2 cards are holding, and growing in value. And yes, round 1 has the rookie autos of the big names (GSP, Anderson Silva. etc) The 1/1 base card of Dana White, the UFC Pres, went for over 2k.

The redemptions actually expire in a week or so i think. but the big name guys arent redemption cards except for a few. But they replaced them with lesser cards anyway. Not just the 6 hits are the money. The Victorious Debuts inserts /88 can go for 200 bucks depending on the fighter.
