Its not a good business move. Jones technically isn't undefeated. If he would've lost he still would've made multi millions. He would've had a rematch and people wouldn't care either way.

Losing would've done nothing to hurt his brand

I love the people saying, Jones can't fight on short notice! He has been training for 8-10 weeks lol. As the world champion, don't all MMA fans expect a "I'll fight anyone, anytime, anywhere" attitude?

No, but he shouldve stepped up for company. He didn't do anything wrong.

UFC is garbage. Over saturated, horrible payperviews and for $70 on HD? waste. Thankfully, we can stream it for free. I'd never give that scumbag Dana White another dime.

I can't wait 'til no one cares about it anymore like boxing (rise and fall of the heavyweights) and wrestling currently. But really, UFC will always have it's die hard (trailer trash) fans like the WWE.

So what you're saying is being a big UFC fan makes me trailer trash?

Don't neccesarily agree with the last part. WWE reaches a wide audience. UFC is attracting a single demographic, they just happen to be reaching a substantial portion of the demographic to make it profitable.

Boxing will always have it's purists (the old men, watching to insult how it's died since the Ali days) and a decent enough piece of the demographic to make it profitable. WWE has the exact same thing, only also reaching a demographic of children that UFC will never reach.

UFC is sitting on a single demographic, males ages 18-49. Once the hype and excitement dies down they won't stand a chance.

UFC isn't going anywhere. They are having a rough time lately with injuries but that's a part of the business.
By the way, I've been a die hard fan for years and I'm not trailer trash. Thanks for the attempt. Please try again.

70? Try 55 for HD. Streaming it makes you more trashier. Dana White is actually the best commish/pres of sports.

I have been a fan for about 7 years now and I have never even stepped foot in a trailer

I would say its pretty trailer trash to steal a PPV event though. But I guess $55 is a LOT of food stamps so I get it.

UFC was fun when the events were small markets: Charlotte, Augusta, Mobile, Dothan, Birmingham. The last one I bought was probably UFC44. The first 14 were good.
