Printing Plates

I was just wanting some info on printing plates and how to price them as far as value? I know they come in 4 "colors". I recently bought a box of 2011 leaf metal mma and pulled a magenta Alistair Overeem auto. plate from the base set.
Are certain "colors" worth more than others? Any help and general info on this would be a great help!

Some collectors tend to favor black plates.

I think they are generally viewed equally although depending on the color and the card in question, some plates look better than others so that may influence the price.
